Deep in the Royal Library is a book. A terrible book that is said to send whoever reads it mad. A book so dangerous that it has to be hidden away and secured with chains to prevent it from ever being opened.

A book which has just been accidently checked out by Spike on behalf of Twilight Sparkle.

The Star In Yellow is rising once more, and only Rainbow Dash and Spike can save Twilight before it's too late. Ideas live forever. Ponies do not.

This fic is loosely inspired by the 19th century story 'The King In Yellow'.

A Discorded Queen Chrysalis snuggles everything she can in Ponyville, while Twilight is powerless to stop her or figure out why this is even happening in the first place.

In the middle of Ponyville, there lived a filly called Brown Sugar. For the most part, Brown Sugar's life was good.
There were her friends, a group of foals who could hardly be more different, her daddy, who she loved more than any other pony in the world, a gigantic collection of toys, her love of mariachis and Wonderbolt stunts and a huge mansion all to herself! Brown Sugar could have been truly happy, but every filly had a wish and she was no exception.
There were wishes that were easy to fulfill, wishes that required some effort to be met and even wishes that made it necessary to bring a sacrifice if they should become true.
Normally, the wish for a loving and caring mother did not need to be fulfilled, it was something a filly had by default. Brown Sugar's life, however, was not normal and, one day, she realized that going the extra mile might be needed to make her wish become true.
Could a sacrifice bring her the mother she was wishing for so much?

In Tartarus, a rather unusual situation unfolds. After being banished to the prison plane of Equestria, an unusual entity comes to a horrifying realization. He should not be here, he’s a good guy!

Sure he caused some havoc, but he was trying to protect trees and forests from development. Yes he crashed a few parties, but the silverware didn't match. Indeed, it was he who stole all the socks that didn't match, but it was an affront and crime against fashion. Okay maybe invading Canterlot in order to deliver a letter was a bit much, but it was an important letter.

After all, he really needed to know who was best princess.

Nothing he did was all that evil, he really was trying to be good. How could he be a villain? Obviously this is just a misunderstanding, right?

Pinkie Pie has an existential crisis while painting her room. This self-parody is dedicated to Professor Piggy, who once told me that I could write a story about Pinkie watching paint dry and weave it into an incredible psychological journey. Let's see if he was right.
