At the dawn of the discovery of a new sentient race, the United Nations must answer a call to arms after the peaceful society of Equestria is threatened by an enemy unknown to humans. It will take guts, courage, and sacrifice to overcome the long road ahead. Forged in the fires of conflict, a true soldiers bond will be formed between the two races. A true sense of camaraderie.

The war is finally over. We ponies have lost. Our plan to convert humanity into ponies has failed. Hundreds of thousands are dead. Homes destroyed. Our nation is shattered and near annihilation. All because we underestimated humanity and their refusal to become like us.

I alone now hold the fate of my people in my hooves against the humans who want nothing more than to destroy us for the so called atrocities we have committed against them. I've lost my friends one way or another. My family. My fellow Princesses.

I have but one duty and that is, reluctantly, to see that we are shown mercy.

I'm just afraid of the cost. Or what I will learn from this.

When a mysterious magical mist transports Equestria into the Human World at the beginning of the 20th Century, everything is turned upside down. Alliances shift, governments are toppled, new technological discoveries revolutionize daily life and the same mysterious force that brought Equestria to Earth is not done with it yet. On top of that can Equestria's ponies learn the long forgotten art of war? Can Equestria survive the most violent century in human history? Or will it be torn apart from both without and within? Meet Jeremy and Sam Harve. Father and son both thrown into the world of Equestria after a near death experience. When Jeremy realizes his son's life might be in danger he is willing to risk his own life to keep him safe. He meets FLuttershy a kind caring Pegasus who is willing to help take care of them both until they are able to support themselves. Will Jeremy and Sam ever find a way back home? Only time will tell.

This story contains the hardships of a single father raising a son and at points is sad other points are adorable.
