Well after nearly coming to tears listening to a few fanfiction dubs of Scootaloo being adopted by rainbow kind of put me in the mood to do something a little bit more shall we say family friendly. Not that the other ones aren't family-friendly but hopefully you understand what I'm saying. 0_0

Anyway this will kind of give every pony a glimpse into the families of my quote on quote "Prime Timeline" for mlp and I make no apologies for my choices ^^

Screwball trying to get used to her life now. She finally has her daddy (Discord) free and able to come and go as he pleases. And still having to live at her mommy's (Fluttershy) cottage.

It always seem like Fluttershy and Discord are always fighting with each other. Having to watch almost every second of it was young Screwball.

But, she knows her mommy and daddy love each other. And the Gala will show it.

A budding love, a new family.

Rescued from her horrible parents by Twilight and Rainbow, Scootaloo begins a long journey of recovery from the years of mental and physical abuse. Now Rainbow’s and Twilight’s adopted daughter, she looks forward to what the future has in store for her. However, Scootaloo's happiness and her life are at risk now that her parents have escaped from prison, fully intent on revenge.

Meanwhile, Rainbow and Twilight try to make their relationship work as they face the difficulties of raising a filly together. To accomplish their dream of a happy family, they all must face numerous challenges that will test the strength of their love and friendship.

Scootaloo has never told anypony that she is an orphan, that her parents one day decided not to come home. She has been on her own since she was very little. She has learned to fend for herself, care for herself, and doesn't want help from anypony, including her best friends. It isn't until a certain purple unicorn learns the truth and takes her into her home that Scootaloo realizes she needed help from somepony a long time ago.

Please do not ask if you can continue this story. The answer will be no.

Rainbow couldn't be any happier with the last few months - her newfound relationship with a certain yellow pegasus has soared to fantastic heights. The pair of pegasi are deeply in love, spending considerable amounts of time together while basking in each others' company; everything is perfect.

Well... according to everyone except for Rainbow's younger adopted sister.

Seeming to despise the newcomer interrupting their once solely sisterly dynamic, Scootaloo hasn't been afraid of voicing her displeasure; Meanwhile, Rainbow wants nothing more than to see two of the most important ponies in her life get along.

However one fateful day, an unexpected Wonderbolt Emergency forces Rainbow to leave Scootaloo in the care of Fluttershy - surely this will work out, right?

Can these pegasi ever be a family of 3? And what exactly is Scootaloo hiding to prevent herself from bonding with Fluttershy?

Scootaloo is refusing to go home. She's flinching at things that shouldn't scare her. She's refusing to talk about her parents.

Rainbow has to figure out what's wrong with her little sister, and how much of her idyllic sounding childhood she had made up.
