'What happened to Cloudsdale?'

It is a simple question, yet one that the greatest of scholars that have studied the Age of Harmony could not find an answer for. It is a city that did not leave a mark upon the world like with Canterlot and Ponyville. Yet, it was the home of many species before magic had disappeared and the sundering of everything that kept them together. A Forgotten relic of an age long gone.

That is, until now.

But what awaits a trio of friends could change how they think of the past... and it's something none of them are prepared for

My first attempt at trying to write a story set within G5. It takes place after the Movie as well as the Make Your Mark special, but is considered an AU since the explanations for events that occurred in the G5 Comics are not present here.

This story was influenced a lot by several different things and is the culmination of everything that I have tried to write over the course of the last two months. The main sources of inspiration were the Forgotten series by milesprower06, the Ancients from Final Fantasy XIV as well as the Critical Role miniseries, Exandria Unlimited- Calamity.

Teen rated because of the discovery of things that would be deemed as unsettling by many.

Any feedback for future G5 stories would be really appreciated. I hope I got each of the characters right. Yet, trying to write G5 is completely different compared to writing the ponies we all are familiar with in G4

An unspecified time after being turned to stone, Cozy Glow awakens in a cave-like dwelling in the presence of her rescuer. He is a mysterious, hulking figure unlike anything Cozy Glow had ever come across before. As she spends more time with her new ursine guardian, and eventually becomes his newest apprentice, Cozy Glow learns a lesson about having pride in and ownership of one's true nature. . . among other things. . .

Written for the 3rd Annual Cozy Glow Short Story Contest.

The prompt used was: Grimdark/horror - Cozy teams up with a villain from a classic MLP grimdark.

Violet Flare was sickly the day she was born, already disproving odds by surviving to 15, however she finally ran out of luck and was closing in on her death. A week away from her expiration date, a small message popping up in her vision gives her more hope than she has ever felt. The only problem is, will she have enough time to do what the message asks, and gain more time on her life clock?

Kisaki Tetta had everything planned out from middle school. Every single movement was precisely calculated as though it was chess. Every single flaw was noticed and eventually reshaped and improved. It was flawless. There was one issue though. The person that would get in his way of achieving a high social status was a time traveler.

Surprisingly but naturally, his plan started tumbling down when the supposed time traveler started changing the route of his plan continuously. And that all boiled down to a final face off that ended in catastrophe as Kisaki was hit by a truck.

One thing we know about massive vehicle accidents like this though, is that it's almost never the end of the story for those affected by it. Rather it's the opposite. And in this case, Kisaki is somehow magically transported into a cartoonish dimension that looked like it was painted by an artist from the 19th century. With him being presented with an alternate reality where the inhabitants of it are easily manipulated, he knew what strange opportunities lie for him by the doorstep. His plan to achieve dominance and a powerful position begins anew in this abnormal world, now without a time traveler to get in his way of achieving it. But maybe that might not be the very thing to prevent him from ever achieving it.
