you tell me. i meant i like how luna used her dream power thing to help dash come to terms with his gender identity, or "cracking [his] egg" as egg is a slang term in the trans community referring to a trans person who hasn't realized they're trans just yet. like dash here was until the very last line of this chapter- killer way to do it, btw!
Uhh, is this pony-Rainbow or human-Rainbow? 'Cause I can't imagine that clear - that is, bare - skin would look as great on an equine as it does on a human. But you've been throwing around words like filly and stallion, and at one point Rainbow talks about flying, soooo...
I mean, I dunno. That whole second scene just feels kinda weird. Getting your female friend who makes dresses to gussy you up as a male (without even talking about what masculinity looks like to the feminine eye) seems kinda weird, especially when he still has a dad to talk to and (probably?) male spa attendants to get advice from on male hygiene. I get that he's reaching out to friends, but does he just not have adult male friends?
That said, the ease with which he started treatment was pretty great. I laughed, in a "why is it not this easy for us?" kind of way.

Rainbow is a pony in this. And it's very clear that Rarity forced Rainbow into a makeover. He never asked for help. Also, ponies don't inherently have gender roles, so I don't think it would matter if Rarity helped Rainbow out a bit
