I wasn’t disappointed, my only two complaints are capitalization inconsistencies, (Mom and dad should be capitalized if it’s being used as a name. Father and mother shouldn’t be capitalized if it’s describing who it is, as apposed to being a name (my father, my mother, and the like.) and the fact that Rainbow Dash couldn’t exactly skip out on a Wonderbolt show because she is a Wonderbolt.
Also, I thought I was the only one who wrote stories based off songs, looks like I have some competition.

This was written before she became an official one, and since she was only in the reserves in season four, barely at that point in time, it wasn't likely for her to be called. Plus I imagine they may have had rebuilding to do after Tirek's rampage since we don't know everywhere he went.
And thank you for those inconsistencies! I will likely fix them tomorrow. But it's 5:30 AM here and I should go to bed XD

Quick question. You mentioned that RD was frightened after she lost her wings to Tirek. I know she lost her ability to fly, as did every pegasi whose magic he absorbed, but I don't remember her physically losing her wings. That did happen, but with Discord, not Tirek. When you said she lost her wings, was that metaphorically?
