I sympathize with Rockhoof, forests like that are always a double-edged sword. A great first defense, but also a very touchy neighbor.
I can't wait for the Sea Ponies to realize that they can create oxygen bubbles for other ponies to use or creatures
So far, so stable with the sub, but where ther is a small leak, especially with pressure, there will be a bigger leak, and given the inside of the sub is generally not designed to withstand hull pressures, that big leak can be very fast indeed even if for a relatively short time.
Im just glad it was the other end of the bathroom to the toilet.
I wonder if ArFaun can ask the forest to build the palisade as an agreement of non encrochment, especially given Berberis and Brambles etc? the access paths and one track would be much trickier?
I wonder if the mists produced by electromechanical Pond Foggerswould have the correct properties to be useable by pegasus weather magic? Construction etc?
The Amadine can only move stuff by docking, because Sea Ramps and Floating Dockswould at this time take far too much time and resources, even given Mulbery Floating Roads?
a grate chapter. hang in there tin caner's help is on the way.

Well, Amandine only goes with circa 25 crewmembers. The floating harbor in Arromanches you mentionned, that had a whole bunch of Army Engineers to assemble.
Funny thing is I've been to Arromanches a couple times, you can get to some of the wrecked Mulberry pontoons on foot at low tide. It's a neat place if you're looking for WW2 surplus.
But back to Amandine. I don't really see where the problem is with being forced to dock to unload her vehicles. As far as I know, they have a decent amount of time before the harbors that would normally receive a vessel of her size deteriorate to the point where they need repairs. Incidentally, ports like that are much more likely to hold valuable loot to recover, and be tied to important cities worth exploring.
Rhine Forest would be the ship to go to for accessing places with little infrastructure through her auxiliaries. For all I know she might even be able to pull off a mulberry harbor with her barges in the long run.
As for Fugro, smaller size and draft makes her more viable as a vessel for mid-sized ports, though that comes at the obvious cost of lacking vehicles to deploy.
I'll also add as a reminder: being that a Mulberry harbor is that much more exposed to the elements, Ro/Ro vessels like Amandine are at an extreme risk if they were to dock there. Any form of water ingress on such a vessel can quickly spiral out of control, lest you forgot about the Herald of Free Enterprise.
No reason why it wouldn't. Cloudsdale has a weather factory, so I'm going to take a gamble and say cloud formations don't have to be natural to be affected by the cloudwalk gimmick. Same goes for mist, so you could have the cartoon-esque scene of a pegasus cutting a chunk out of a fog bank to peer through.
