They dont have many hippogriffs on the ship, but tehy have room for most of the submarine crew as replacements for the crew normally?
Given the size of rivers and river bridges in the US I wouldnt think it would take many years of non maintenance to pretty much slice the network into watershed sections at best?
Someone really needs to have a talk with the forest about those boars etc, if only to come to an agreement about rate of clear cropping for charcoal and other supplies and clear track, division barriers etc? As for the turbine, now that they have electricity, it would be agood time to start work on research and designing the replacement, so when it starts to get to worn out to run reliably any longer, they have time to build the prepared for upgrade?
getting every one off of the USS Georgia is going to take some doing but the hippogriffs are going to be the ace in the hole to get the job dune.
things are shaping up to be fun.

Here: https://www.fimfiction.net/blog/871427/along-new-tides-ship-presentation-m-v-fugro-symphony That's Fugro's data sheets, crew list and stats.
The thing is with Fugro Symphony, she has a lot more berthing space and bunks on board in comparison to pure cargo ships like Amandine and Rhine Forest -- though the latter has containerized cabins added to the mix with her modifications-. She may not have the best divers around -seaponies-, but she got enough room for over a hundred people.
Split Georgia's crew with RF, you got enough room for a Ohio-class complement of about 155 souls.
Makes me wonder how 'primitive' you can make a coal turbine so that it would be rugged enough to last a while, and simple enough that you could forge the parts you need for it. Trecesson is a weird concept. You got high fantasy levels of magic living alongside modern turbines while the guards wear army ponchos and use lever action hunting rifles. Marlins by the way, chambered in 45-70. Helluva punch.

Ain't much of a surprise there. For all the debatable uses the maritime industry can have for their skills, that here is an arc that fits their niche just right.

most defiantly the hippogriffs are going to get to strut there stuff.
Just so you know American subs only have a pressure hull. It tends to be the Russians and Chinese that use double hulled designs.

Mea culpa then. Sounds to me like I spent too much time reading up on the Kursk tragedy and not enough on Ohio-class subs. Hope it ain't enough to ruin the whole reading experience to you.
