Or because it's a story about rape. Which, you know, is understandable because it's... fucking gross, yeah. But also it's just about rape - nothing more. Most of these are kinda hollow like that - just weird, shallow fantasy trips - so you can't blame people for calling it out for what it is.

Technically, it's not an OC. It's actually from Them's Fightin' Herds, that thing that came from the D&C of Fighting is Magic.
When I finished reading this, I was imagining Velvet or Tianhuo coming at the last second and stops Oleander.

Still ruined the fic for me with her personality.
Eh, story was fun but Oleander started interesting but got super boring. I half expected her to break character and ask Twi if she's okay with that rape-play, or wake up, or whole thing being Twi's play because she's vastly more powerful.
Be nice if their was a continuation with a better ending. All I got was that Oliander is a flat character with desires for power so that she's a bigger dog that the one in her world, and will rape and take the power from anyone that might have it.

Not as good as your usual work.... I am not sure you did Oleander justice as typically its FHTNG (aka Fred) who delights in the pain and misery of the situation.
In fact his silence throughout this whole affair is rather....odd. Given how the character seems to be intrinsically linked to Oleander's powers.
Admittedly, it is a non-con fic so that does put my back up slightly, and commissioned work is commissioned work.
Not sure what to make of Twilight changing her tune towards the end their....on one hand, Friendship is Magic and forgiveness is important part of that. On the other, she was in a lot of pain, so like Oleander suggested it may just be a case of her wanted the pain to stop.
I must give you credit for acknowledging Twilight wasn't likely weaker then Oleander but instead didn't know how to fight or utilize her power properly. Thats a good analysis of the characters as portrayed.
I am not going to ask for a sequel for this....but I do kinda want a non-sex based Oleander/Twilight story now. So points for that as well.
