Circling back now and having read the two chapters, I can say I'm feeling it with the start here. The characterization is good, and the scene setting carries a strong atmosphere, especially with the little touches like the 'guitar pick challenge'. I'm looking forward to seeing where it goes.

This story hits too close to home, I know too many people with the closed minded ‘Must go to college, MUST work in an office’ type mentality...

I can’t help but feel like I’d like this just a bit more if it weren’t second-person, but honestly I was noticing it so little by the end I’m not sure it’d actually make much difference. The narrator feels a lot more fleshed-out than the typical second-person cardboard cutout, is the thing.
It’s so very sweet so far, though! The characters have so much personality, it’s done wonders to make them endearing and likable. Definitely hoping to see more of this

Well I still believe that is one of the best Sunset Shimmer I've enjoyed (with no offense to the others, I just enjoyed that "series" so much) but I need some fulfilment from/for Vinyl after reading Scratch One Off. Forgive me
this is looking great so far. I was a little skeptical while reading it since it doesn’t really take place in a MLP location. But that is outweighed by this compelling story that you have provided for us and i will look forward to more of your awesome chapters to come 😁. Keep up the amazing work Holy we all love you

I loved these kinds of fics before, I saw them all die incomplete. A few gems were able to finish and I hope this turns to one of them.

I'm not noting this to disparage, just pointing out something that may have been overlooked, since I found the several comments on this point a bit head-scratching. The story is tagged as Equestria Girls, and in the second chapter, it specifically mentions that both of them attended CHS. So it's set in-universe, just a good number of years after the events of the canon show.
Gonna throw this on my RiL and probably won't see it again :(

Very happy to see this story continue. Had a bit of a rough morning, and this was a good read to improve my mood. You write these characters very likeably, to where I really am rooting for things to go well for them.
