Brighten my day? I wish this was on Legend of Everfree! As much as I like the fourth EQG movie, SunLight is my OTP. And Hasbro Studios giving a "Canon" reason for my ship to probably never happen hurts, a lot. But seeing people writing cute romantic stories of SunLight always make me smile and see the bright side of life. Thank you.

Good story for the most part. The only complaint I can think of is that Twilight and Sunset kept repeating 'I love you' and 'I love you too' a bit more than was strictly necessary. I know they do love each other in this story, but they don't need to say it all the time to make that clear. Still, that's just a very minor nitpick, no need to fret about it.

Nice. I love all the little scenes, but once you hit LoE, the progression starts to seem off. With all the things that happened previously, Twilight not opening up to Sunset about her nightmares sooner doesn't sit right. I wish writers would choose to be brave more often and break away from canon rather than clumsily squeeze their story within its confines. It's not even that badly done in this case, but the fact that it's an imperfect fit is very much felt.
One part I did like is that they relatively quickly progressed to being open about their relationship, which also let them deflect Timber nicely. Seeing his lame attempts to impress Twilight really made me appreciate Flash Sentry in contrast. I wasn't any more thrilled by the writers' awkward attempts to fabricate some kind of romance out of him and Twilight repeatedly bumping into each other in the earlier movies, but at least he had sincerity going for him. If I had to choose between him and Timber, I'd pick Flash as Twilight's love interest every time. Good thing we don't have to choose and can go with SunLight instead, though
7647462 As a counterpoint to this, I'd like to say that I didn't notice this as an issue here, though I've seen other stories where the main characters overuse this phrase, using it to express all sorts of things that would be better served by more specific words. It's definitely worth making sure these three words aren't overused. If you write your romance right, your characters' actions will speak plenty loud enough so that the words themselves don't need to be frequently spoken.

True, but is Timber any better? I have not been impressed with either of the Twilight-centric romance attempts by the writers and am glad it doesn't receive more attention and screen time than it does.
