My honor is my loyalty.

Twilight Sparkle discusses life with Discord; Twilight reminisces a bit about her childhood.

Author's Note: My little sister just got diagnosed with cancer and is going through chemotherapy. She wrote this story; I'm uploading it on her behalf after having checked it for grammar and edited it for length. Please upvote this story. It doesn't look like she's going to make it. She's only seven years old, and she was bullied in school constantly. Having her story be featured would make her so happy. I don't actually expect it to happen (people are cruel), but if it did, then I'd be really grateful.

Really cute story, and really introspective.

This is a very good one-shot. I am so sorry about you sister being bulled and then being the hospital.

On the one hand, that authors note.

On the other hand, it's Decanus.

Huh.

I'm just gonna go to bed.

Ughhh... I can appreciate this, and I hope you and your family are feeling..... okay.....but I don't like Twicord. Gave an upvote anyway.

Upvoted and fav'd. May God bless your sister in this trying time.

I hope your sister does well, keep posted? Heh, if she enjoys any of my stories, I'll be more than glad to hear her out for any ideas she might one and draw one up for her. Knight's Honor and Author's Code! Tis a good story, for one with so much to hang on to.

Amazingly written for a seven year old. I, too, always felt that Twilight probably has autism. Being on the spectrum myself, I identify very strongly with her.

But one thing i would say to your sister: It's not true that you can have only one good friend. Putting down Discord's friendship with Fluttershy isn't necessary to say that Twilight loves him. A guy can be good friends with a girl and still like another girl as his girlfriend. That was the only thing i felt didn't work in this story. Twilight should have said that Fluttershy is his friend but that she, Twilight, loves him as more than a friend.

A very nice story. Very impressive for a seven year old. Hopefully your sister is doing fine. Also, at the rate the upvotes are coming in I think this story has a good chance of being featured:twilightsmile:

An interesting idea and a good short read. And do not give up hope on your sister, there are many options for cancer treatment and there is much that can still be done. Trust in your doctors and know that they will do everything in their power to save her. The chemo will make her very sick but it will also destroy her cancer cells and prevent it from spreading, so the sickness means it is working. If that fails then surgery and proton therapy are some of the other options your doctor could use. A word of caution: some people may dislike your sister's story because they might think you are faking this so that people up-vote and feature your story out of sympathy. It's the internet and it's hard to tell when someone is telling the truth. Personally I believe in judging a story by how well it is written. That being said I like this story for it's content and it is very impressive for a 7 year old, although I agree that you should not expect it to be featured. If it isn't do not assume that people are cruel, there are thousands of good stories competing for attention. It is a feat just to make it on the popular stories page let alone be featured. I congratulate your sister for making it to the top 30,000 stories here in one day, far better than either of my stories which have only made it to the top 90,000 after a year. It probably isn't much, but it might cheer her up a tiny bit to know that she writes better than thousands of grown men and women including myself.

Not bad for a seven year old. It's a shame about your sister. If she does die, she was taken too young. I hate her bullies on principle, having suffered it myself.

That's intense

Seven years old? Talented. Bless her. :fluttercry:

Congratulations the story has been featured

If your sister dies, I hope she does so peacefully.

7533708 He says his sister wrote that?

You now have 100 likes on this story:twilightsmile: I truly hope your sister gets better, and I don't know if you believe in prayer, but I will be praying for her. I know what it's like to be bullied, and I also know what it's like to see someone you love in the hospital when it doesn't look like they'll make it. I think this is sweet, and incredibly well written for a seven year old. While I am not a fan of Twicord, I think the way your sister wrote it is adorable.

I hope for the best. I'm sorry this happened.

I mean, I think every once in a while we can let a rule slide, under extreme cicircumstances like this.

7536457 He's one of those 4chan guys. Really, between all the death threats me and my sister are getting and all the accusations against my sister even existing, we don't need the mods kicking her in the teeth over an extreme interpretation of a minute site rule.

They also bombed the downvote button to keep the story from getting featured. It worked; sister's devastated. Regardless, thanks to those of you who've been supportive of her. Your concern is definitely appreciated.

I've made no threats to you, and only pointed out a genuine story disrespecting a basic rule. Rules weren't put there to be ignored.

Your story has gathered 119 likes and 14 dislikes, a 8.5:1 ratio, which is higher than at least six stories on the featured box, in addition to doing it all in three days. It had about 9 dislikes before our thread got involved, and has then gathered five. If you call five downvotes "bombing the downvote button" and don't care about the fact your story has a respectable L:D ratio and so does your "sister", I can't get what's wrong with you "both".

7538020 It's really more the fact that people would dislike a story out of spite than any sort of ungratefulness on my or her part. That goes tenfold for a story belonging to a seven year old girl with cancer who had it fairly rough even before terminal illness hit her. Really, I'm surprised that the ratings are as good as they are. Sister was expecting there to be practically nothing but downvotes; being proven wrong has made her happy regardless of this whole spat with 4chan.

This would probably be a heartwarming gesture if your sister existed. Oh well.
