I read the plot of the story on the wiki, but not the story itself, buuut, I completely forgot twilight was Nyx's sorta birth mother...

5052137 Actually in the sequel 'Winter Bells' (cannon to Past Sins because it's by pen stroke) Nyx goes on a whole adventure to find out what Twilight's blood did in the spell, and if she was genetically her daughter. Eventually its revealed that the blood was just used for the nutrients and they aren't actually blood related, but it's okay because Twilight loves her and that's good enough.
Also, you haven't read it? You're missing out, its one of the best stories I've read on this site! Though I may be biased because it was also the first.
A fun read.
However, if it was all in Rainbow Dash's head, then that includes the sections where Spike and Rarity get sappy with each other and Rarity gets upset about Spike turning into a dragon again.
Rainbow Dash is really a closet romantic
The wording and build could use a little bit of work but it was a good story.
