I loved it up until the scene with Fluttershy and Luna.
I loved the mystery of who sent the gift. Once you confirmed it, the fic changed to a love triangle. The whole tone shifted.
Honestly I think the two should have been separate one shots.

Excellent characterization for all three. This one was very good to me, and while it's beautiful as a one-shot, that ship (Flutterlestia? Celeshy?) is intriguing and hugely unique enough to leave me wistful for more.
