I was first introduced to Godspeed You! Black Emperor in 2011-2012. The first track I listened to was “Mladic”, off of the album Allelujah! Don’t Bend! Ascend!

At the time, I described it to RazedRainbow, the friend who showed me said track, as being forced to live through someone else’s ongoing panic attack. I only made it about 3 minutes in the first time, I think.
