Victory is boring.
Planet after planet I go, searching for any being at all in this universe that could pose a worthy challenge to me. Planet after planet I find only disappointment. Another pretty pearl that hosts life soon comes into my view, and of course I decide to visit it, expecting only failure to blacken my sight once again.
Then I see something that catches my eye. A creature is rampaging across the surface of the world as if it's his own, personal plaything. His power is... positively exuberant! Could this "Lord Tirek" give me the proper, worthy challenge I've waited for so long?

I'm honestly really quite surprised it took this long for any sort of boros story to be written, so for this, I thank you. In other news, this is very well written. And i just realized that my comment is boring. I should go to sleep now. Good night.

On the one hand, Boros is far stronger and faster - dude can sterilize planets, if his boast is to be believed.
On the other hand, as Tirek said, his magic can rearrange physics. We didn't see much of it in his fight with Twilight, but he can open portals, and use Discord's chaos magic - when he summoned his hostages - if even unimaginatively.
This might not be as one sided as people are calling it.

Okay but here's the thing. Even IF we assume you're right about the power of the mind thing, we don't actually know how tough Tirek is, how much of a beating he can take. Twilight was frying him and blasting him into the ground, and he just powered through an entire mountain, without a single scratch on him. We don't know how much it'd take to actually injure him, especially if his powers - especially Discord's - allow him to keep pulling himself back together.
I still think Boros would win, just through attrition, but it'd be quite tough.

A man who knows who how to fight and was practically born on the battle field vs and out of shape centaur who only knows how to shoot lazes in a fight. Plus you forget about Bories regeneration factor. He did come back from just being an eye ball and blood mist
6980375 Like I said, I don't think Tirek's going to win. He was locked up for 1000+ years, he's gotta be rusty. All I'm saying is that we don't know how tough he is. For all we know even Saitama couldn't hurt him, however unlikely that may be, but that's just how little we know.
I think Tirek will lose, but I doubt it'll be a stomp.
