Something strange is happening in Twilight's palace. The magic mirror has started acting strangely during a period of intense solar flares, leaving her worried about what complications might occur. Only criticism I have is that the reference to Phillips head screwdrivers and other human tools, not to mention humans themselves,(though I realized you were referring to the CHS humans) right at the beginning was a little jarring.

I think she got those tools from that human world, but seeing as those tools were designed by humans for humans and Twilight was using her hooves and mouth instead of her magic to use them probably made it harder for her to actually use them

I have seen another with Gandalf coming back in Equestria after everything settles in Middle Earth, but it hasn't been updated for a long time...
Mr War has been writing this well, and I trust he won't make the mistake that can come when crossovering something with a book or movie, like I have seen on fanfiction.net : taking some quotes, thoughs and actions from characters of one universe and transplant them on characters of the other universe.
There was that fic where an author basically replaced Boromir by Twilight, trying to take the One Ring from Frodo near Amon Hen... *cringes.

I am truly curios how this will continue. Mainly how will twilight react on ring. Because from whole mane 6 she will be most tempted by ring. She have much magical power and ring will probably fell it.
And about teleportation i truly think it is extremly hard spell mainly if you should teleport for great distances. Evan with all alicorn magic twilight teleported probably just few miles and she dont have it under control.
I love your crossover. One of the best featuring The Lord of the Rings. I love the Mane Six interacting with Gandalf and the hobbits. Still, I need to ask if the story will differ from the movies or the books. Flood meeting Gandalf in front of the Mane Six would have been adorable, as well as them meeting Sam at the party. I think the Mane Six should have watched the argument between Bilbo and Gandalf because of how emotive it is (quite an ocular gusher for me). Still, I think that Pinkie and Spike will make an excellent pair with Merry and Pippin. The Mane Six enjoying themselves at the party was also nice as well as their meeting with Bilbo. Looking forward to your next chapter.
I'm guessing they will get themselves roped into an adventure of a lifetime in the next few chapters. Oh boy, i look forward for them to interacting with the others.

You and your proofreader are doing it well, Mr-War. I know it's hard to rewrite a scene by adding more characters and still keeping it credible. You are truly writing the characters well. I can't wait to see how the adventurers react when they realise the gravity of their situation and the dangerosity of their quest. They'd better watch out for "Black Snooties".

This is great. I love that Spike tried to destroy it. Ne, does anyone think any other power could take it out? I think maybe Itachi's Amaterasu or Usagi with the ginzuisho could. Pretty sure a Wheel of Time channeler with Balefire could.
