"So what exactly did you need my help for?" Sunset asked as Twilight walked into her apartment and took a seat on her couch.
"I want to learn more about the human body. Specifically female," Twilight explained, pulling a notepad and pen out of her backpack. "I haven't had time to do so my last two visits because we were all occupied with magic and the like."
"Right. How come you didn't ask the girls though? I'm sure they'd be glad to help too," Sunset wondered. She was unsure as to why she was Twilight's first choice.
Twilight froze as she was putting down her bag. "Well, ah, I didn't think they'd understand it was strictly for science."
Sunset hummed, understanding. "I'm curious as to what you consider 'strictly science' since I'm pretty sure some of the tests you'll do on me requires me to take my clothes off." She folded her arms and gave the pony princess a cheeky grin.
Twilight blushed profusely. "W-Well I specifically chose you because you're closer to equine than human, and I wanted to see consistent results. I wouldn't get that with the others." She murmured.
Sunset snorted. "Relax, Twi. I'm just messing with you." She sat down next to her and took off her leather jacket. "Now, what's first?" She asked, looking expectantly at the younger girl.
"Ah...um..." Twilight hesitated. "First, we have to kiss." She said softly, as if they weren't the only two people in the room.
Sunset's eyebrows shot up. "Oh. Oh! When you meant study, you meant study the effects of sexual arousal on the female human body?" She said, finally understanding.
Twilight nodded sheepishly. "We don't have to go too far. Just some experimental kissing and possibly a heated make out. I'm gonna record everything in my notebook, if that's alright," she wrote something down and looked back at Sunset for the okay.
"Yeah! Sure!" The fiery haired girl permitted. "Just, let me lead. It's pretty clear you don't know anything about how these bodies work, and I bet you could get more sufficient data from someone who's experienced. Once you get the hang of it, if you want you can take the reins. Er, no pun intended." Sunset added quickly.
Twilight blinked blankly. “Uh, okay.”
Sunset got on her knees and scooted closer to Twilight. She sat on her heels and pushed a stray strand of hair behind Twilight’s ear as she took a shaky breath. “Ready?” She asked, looking into Twilight’s eyes.
The younger girl nodded, and as soon as she did, Sunset's lips were upon hers. It was a quick kiss, no more than a peck, but Twilight found it exhilarating. She reached down to write some stuff down before turning back to Sunset. The older girl straddled her, pinning her arms above her head with one hand while the other snaked underneath Twilight’s shirt and raked at her bare stomach, causing Twilight to let out quick staccato breaths.
Twilight, freeing one of her hands, pulled Sunset back down to her lips by the nape of her neck, nipping at her bottom lip. An electric shock flowed through her when she heard Sunset let out a loud moan. It made her want to do it again. Becoming braver, she tugged at the older girls lip, while ghosting a deft hand up and down the middle of Sunset’s back, causing her to shudder.
“This,” Twilight said, sort of out of breath. “This is pretty fun.”
“You’re forgetting to take down data,” Sunset reminded her, also trying to catch her breath.
“Oh.” Twilight said sheepishly. She quickly accounted what happened before turning back to Sunset. “Sorry.”
Sunset shrugged, tugging Twilight closer. She licked her lips and began to assault Twilight’s bare neck with hot, sloppy, kisses, biting here and there to claim the younger girl. She couldn’t help but grin thanks to the high pitched moans leaving Twilight’s mouth. Sunset kissed her all the way up to her jawline, before reclaiming her lips, returning the lip bite from earlier. “I’m guessing you’ve never been with a girl before?” she asked with a quirked brow.
Twilight shook her head, her eyes filled with lust. “Would you mind if I touch your boobs? I’ve never actually touched another human female’s breasts before.” She admitted, blushing.
Sunset nodded, laughing.
Timidly, Twilight's hands reached up to Sunset's well endowed chest and squeezed, pleased with the gasp she got out of the girl. "Wow...they're so soft..." She commented, continuing to knead the older girl's breasts.
Sunset smirked. "Still think that this is 'strictly for science'?" She teased breathlessly.
Twilight blushed. "Well...most of it was....the other half was mostly attraction and morbid curiosity," She placed her hands on Sunset's hips and looked her straight in the eye. "I do feel very attracted to you after all."
"Sounds like you've got a crush on me," Sunset said, folding her arms smugly. She smirked when she saw the blush that had risen to Twilight's face intensify.
"I mean...I do like you. A lot.." Twilight rambled. She looked over at the notebook on the coffee table that had some hastily scribbled words on it, then back at Sunset. "I really like you a lot." She repeated.
Sunset kissed Twilight on the lips again. "I can tell." She giggled. "How about I give you an exponential amount of data to record?" She then said in a husky voice, unbuttoning Twilight's blouse.
Twilight looked confused as Sunset eyed her hungrily. "What do you mean by tha-" She started but stopped herself when she saw Sunset take off her shirt. "Oh sweet Celestia."
Perhaps she would get an exponential amount of data after all.

At the risk of being downvoted into oblivion, I respectfully disagree. The story's already plenty sexy enough, just continuing where it leaves off seems unnecessary. On the other hand, a sequel in which Sunset "volunteers" Flash Sentry* to further expand Twilight's anatomical studies, that I think I could get behind.
* - Or one of the Sirens, if you'd rather keep things sapphic.

I found it kinda tough to parse what was going on in this story. The desires and motivations of the characters are extremely murky. Like, there's a mountain of evidence that Twilight is propositioning Sunset out of some sort of romantic feelings, but at times Sunset seems completely oblivious to that (believing that it's just science) and at other times she seems completely aware (overtly teasing Twilight about it). The story doesn't provide any concrete indication that's she's fooled by Twilight's ruse, or that she's just playing along.
Is Sunset nervous? Is that why her breath is trembling, or is it just lust? I would be delighted to see a confident and bold Sunset teaching a young and timid Twilight the ways of lesbian romance, but I literally can not tell if that's what was happening here, or if they were both scared, or even if they were both confident. Twilight might have been very bold in her attempt to acquire some science, and this might not have been a romantic ruse at all.
Or perhaps, is Twilight the confident one and a timid Sunset is being boldly seduced? Perhaps Twilight set her sights on Sunset with the dispassionate focus of a scientist, and came up with a simple plan to approach Sunset and say whatever it takes to get to feel her up.
How does Sunset even feel about science? She was Celestia's student too, right? Maybe she's just as bookish? I mean, she's not asking any questions about 'Data? What exactly are you going to write down?' So maybe that means that she understands this kind of experiment and it somehow makes sense to her?
I genuinely do not know the answers to these very basic characterization questions. Everything seems completely arbitrary and muddled.
