I think the word you're looking for is morbid. Cryptic means mysteriously, purposely leaving out detail. Like the way Celestia talks.
Great story though, I've been waiting for someone to do the "Equestria Girls mane 5 meet Equestria Girls Twilight" idea. Usually it's just referenced, and not the focus.

Well, if the author shows a willingness to rewrite and improve, my vote will remain. I know I always have room for improvement. If the story has problems but the author seeks out an editor and rewrites problems, I'll support them.

There's no reason to believe that having both world's people in the same side for prolonged periods is harmful. It's not time travel after all, and each soul is their own so there shouldn't be a paradox. The Elements work due to qualification, not soul-matching, which was why they're allowed in the foreign world to begin with. Theoretically Shimmer could have activated the Elements naturally after all.

3351626 That's a very good question, but I think we can be pretty sure, yes. In Sunset Shimmer's origin comic, she is very interested in finding out all about the mirror and what was on the other side. If she were originally human, she would know about that stuff already, unless she came through the mirror as a very young child, showing up in Canterlot as an orphan foal. Which could be pretty cool.
I was intrigued by the concept, but all the typos and dull description turned me off pretty fast.

The fact that no said cross-rip occurred suggests that there is no alt-world Sunset. Which raises an intriguing possibility: That Sunset is the EqG world's Sunset; truly a child of both worlds. Don't ask me how but sometimes magic solves its own problems.
Hm, noticed a few cases of word omission and word confusion there, but overall it made sense. Although why sunset was so adamant about telling her story is kinda odd.
