Bloody 'ell that was dark.... I liked it and wonderful for a 45 minute thing!
45 minutes were put into dishing out this short, but hauntingly beautiful masterpiece... and all I can leave to show my appreciation for such work is a single like. Take it, good sir! You are very much deserving!
That is... chilling. The perspective means so much, because to the ponies outside they are consumed, but to those inside everything is alright forever. I wonder if the shadow creatures don't think they're doing the right thing...

I liked this. The only thing is Luna's final line line to Celestia seems weirdly formal and plural, compared to how she was speaking before. It caught me off guard and sort of threw me out of the moment.
But other than that minor thing, I thought this was really interesting. It reminded me of that episode of Doctor Who where Rose went back in time to see her dad, and they got caught in that church. Mostly just in the 'everyone outside this room is gone' sense.
This fic was interesting, dark and a bit unnerving, but i still have one thing about this story that'll probably frustrate me to no end and it's the whole "Mommy" thing because quite frankly.... I have no fucking idea what the hell was going on with that scene.
The Joker looks at the gaseous things, "You remind me of my mother..." The gas things stop. Something is wrong with this one...
"I HATED my mother!" the Joker sneered as he grabbed one impossibly! "Hey, let me show you how I got my scars.." He slit its throat! How the buck did he even DO that?! The rest of the demonic death farts tried to flee, but the Joker killed them all!
And so the Joker saved the day!
Before watching the world burn... eh, sometimes ya just can't win!
But honestly, this is one case where the ponies of a psycho Equestria would win, since they hate everyone, especially their own parents.
