Read it on EqD when it was posted there, but there's only one thing that needs to be changed. Seeing as the holiday is now known as 'Hearts and Hooves' Day, methinks it should be edited as such.
Other than that, it was good to read it again.
Isn't the implication here that Rarity is one of the schoolhouse bullies? Either that, or she and Applejack are sufficiently different in age that she didn't go to school at the same time. It's canon (Cutie Mark Chronicles) that Rarity went to the Ponyville schoolhouse, and that she and Cheerilee were students there at the same time. While Rarity was in school, however, Applejack was striking out for Manehattan. I always figured that AJ, being a farm pony, was home schooled or had no formal education. I doubt Rarity would ever be a bully (a snob, perhaps, but not a bully).
Good story, regardless of the above.
