Every year, Ponyville hosts a five-day long fair to celebrate the traditions of the small town. Music, carnival rides, and games never fail to impress visitors from all over Equestria, but the highlight of the fair is always the food. Delicious delicacies like fried dough and homemade ice cream really make the fair special.

Nothing better exemplifies this food than the Great Ponyville Bake-Off, a competition to see who is the best baker in town. The winner is always met with high regard and gets bragging rights for a year, while their places of business see a boost in customers.

Pinkie Pie and Applejack, two consistent top contenders, always pull out all the stops to outdo each other in the competition. For the past six years, the record between them stands at 3-3.

But with royalty serving as judges this year, the stakes have been raised. The winner of the competition will not only be known as Ponyville's best baker, but they'll also be recognized throughout Equestria as exquisite connoisseurs of baked goods.

With so much on the line, Pinkie Pie and Applejack are willing to do whatever it takes to win. How far will they go to taste sweet victory, and will their friendship survive the competition?

The Great Ponyville Bake-Off? Well, I suppose the question that we all want to know the answer to is...

...can they avoid a soggy bottom?

I think this is the plot of one of the comics.

I would vote for Pinkie but I have a feeling that it might be a ringer.

At first (before I started reading) I thought it was going to be something random like Derpy making muffins or the like but I have a better idea now. I am thinking Spike. Now Spike cannot enter the competition directly but he could bake for somebody else and have them enter it for him. Perhaps a hapless candy maker who can't bake may need a chocolate cake that is better than the ones from the Gala?

Or I could be reading too much into it. Guess we will find out.

I wouldn't know, because I haven't read all of the comics. Hopefully it can be different though.

I shall win the bake off!

Calling a season- one- episode- six style twist, and Lyra and bonbon win.

And then there were three.

I think I will root for team Spike for now.

Ooo! Cheating! Scandals! Yeah! :derpyderp1:

:trollestia:And the winner is...
:twilightangry2:SPIKE!
