If you're looking for a hetero-ship involving DT/CMC though, I've got one of those as well. "Pride and Prejudice and Snails" revolves around a bit of a love triangle of DT, Sweetie, and Snails, though I'm just a wee bit behind on updating that. But Soon(tm).
That was adorable! It seemed a little rushed, like the kissing scenes just seemed to be a sentence and that's it, but overall it was really cute! A nice alternate take than what happened on the show, and I like it! Even if I hate Rarity, she made a good substitute for Dash at the end, and Diamond Tiara and Scootaloo both discussing their feelings with others was pretty smart and logical. The take on Commander Hurricane and Princess Platinum, which would technically be Dash x Rarity, was so cute! I know I'm gushing a lot, but it's the truth! The story was simply very cute and I highly enjoyed it.
I don't think I've read a story this long so many times over. (the life of a pre-reader, eh?) But I can say it only got better with each draft!
I still wish we could of gotten more after the end, but then again I'm a glutton for this ship!

Thanks. I wanted to use Rarity in place of Dash both because it seemed more fitting given the focus on romance and because of Rarity playing Platinum to Dash's Hurricane. And the whole Founding of Equestria angle gave me a way in that could work with the limited time frame the episode provided

Funny you should use that video clip, I thought Diamond Tiara was at her best and least hate-able when she was channeling J. Jonah Jameson in the episode where she took over the school paper. Right up until the black mail, she was harsh but fair and that was pretty far into the episode.

Yeah. Love that episode. It is one of the few where she gets a decent chunk of screentime, and we get to see more of her than an early bit to start the ball rolling, a little bit in the middle to keep it doing so, before her comeuppance in the end. And shows she can get along with the CMC, even praise them.

Blame Fernesh! He posted it in a Shipping group forum thread on cute shipping pics a little bit after the episode came out. And that's part of why I had the idea and wrote the story
