On her way to her parent's house one cold Hearth's Warming Eve Twilight Sparkle disappears. From Canterlot, from Ponyville and from the looks of it, Equestria. Her friends and family are worried for her but unknown to them she has been thrown back almost a thousand years for unknown reasons. As she tries to figure out how and why she sent there her time in the past begins to change and shape the future.

Twilight and her friends will have to work together to get her home.

This was planned almost completely at the end of season 3 so lots of newer canon history is ignored. Thus the beginning of this fic also set soon after season 3.

Slow burn Twilight/Celestia and background slow burn Pinkie/Luna. Other ships are as of right now undecided.

Twilight accidentally orders 55 gallons of anal lube and tries to find practical uses for it.

Decades after her ascension, an upsetting revelation brings Twilight Sparkle to distance herself from her old mentor and dive back into what she knows best: research.

Not everypony agrees with the results of her work, however, and conflict becomes inevitable.

The human Twilight finds out about what had happened during the Amon-A-Miss incident. In her rage, she chews out Pinkie Pie, Applejack, Rarity, Rainbow Dash, and Fluttershy for how badly they treated Sunset Shimmer and storms out on them. It's up to Sunset to calm her down.

It's very simple, really. There are five mares (and one small dragon) outside the bookstore. One more inside. And the pony within the text-flooded aisles has decided that she's not coming out. Ever.

So naturally, someone called the Virginia state police and asked for a hostage negotiator.

The Missing Cutie Marks: The Doctor is in, making his debut in Equestria! He soon finds that not all is well, however, when ponies’ cutie marks mysteriously go missing… The "disease" is spreading, and the Doctor must find out what's causing it with the help of his new friend, Twilight Sparkle.

Twilight Sparkle broke time when she got her cutie mark. Now Twilight and Sparkle are sisters from another time. Twilight is hailed as the potentially greatest light magician of all time, and already has a reputation as a hero by the time she goes to Ponyville. This isn't her story, not primarily.

Sparkle is an orphan - her dark magic killed her parents. She lives with her brother in Canterlot's industrial sector because they can't afford anything better. She can't leave either. She's a natural dark mage; while Sparkle won't go mad like Sombra, her reputation is hardly any better. Worse, the law doesn't see her as a good pony.

The fact that the dead don't stay dead around her, or that Thorn - Spike's double - is an undead, soul-eating abomination, are other matters altogether.
