Twilight and Applejack are engaged. Life seems wonderful... yet Applejack doubts. Twilight seems happy, but she's so busy everywhere but Sweet Apple Acres. Two ponies are stuck in their own worlds, or at least that's how it seems to Applejack. When Twilight is called away from the harvest for an important political summit in Canterlot, Applejack decides in her loneliness that the only way to bridge the gap she fears is forming is to head off into a world of magic and intrigue after her favorite unicorn. She will place herself as a seal on Twilight's heart, come hell or high water.

Sometimes extreme measures need to be taken to reassure a friend who is hurting, especially when the hurt is self-inflicted. All it takes is trust.

note: this story was written between season 1 and season 2, and takes place during that time

After the defeat of Discord Princess Celestia and Luna took the throne, fifty years later Luna is tired of ponies fearing her night and praising the day. Thus she begins an epic adventure to make the night safer for her subjects. While on this mission her strength will be tested by enemy and friend alike and the ponies that rally to her side will either have to save her or watch their princess fall to darkness.

Applejack finds out the hard way that she is one of the few sane ponies in Ponyville. Or perhaps Equestria overall. Because of this, Princess Luna often comes to visit to discuss her policy plans with the farm pony. Hi-jinks ensue.

It is two years since the return of Princess Luna, and Ponyville has been hit with the latest in a rash of disappearances that have stopped and started over the course of about ten years. The police are baffled, as no traces of the ponies has ever shown up, but rumors of a serial killer have been floating around the station. However, when a pony appears in the police station covered in blood, they find out that the rumors have more than a little truth to them, and that the horror stories have only started.

Since dating Rainbow Dash, Applejack's ordinary days are few and far between, especially when Rainbow comes to her asking her to help her find her cloud house which had blown away in a storm just over a week ago.

There's a little more to Rainbow's problem than meets the eye, however, and it's not just where the house landed that's the problem: her own feelings are starting to get involved too...

X-Com stands as the first and last line of defense against any and all extraterrestrial threats. The year is 2084, and after several months of fighting multiple races of aliens from an alternate dimension, the war has reached its peak. With X-Com forces stranded in another dimension, the aliens rolled in and obliterated Humanity from existence. Now, with a spaceship, 400 souls and 80 year old weaponry, the last remnants of the Human race are out for payback.
In the process, they manage to make a few new friends, as well as a worrying number of foes...

She’s also searching for a long lost friend. Last but not least, she’s a time-travelling immortal alien hunter with a secret paramilitary base hidden underneath her family barn.

Stranded in a different time from when she grew up, she hides herself in plain sight, lying in wait for the chance to prevent a horrible future from emerging. Can she change history, or is she doomed to spend eternity watching everyone die at the hands of the greatest evil she has ever known?

A story written with diary entries, present day action scenes, dialogue, secret documents, and little to no editing.

Crossover with Torchwood. The Doctor will not actually appear in story line except in flashbacks.
