Life has been going well in Equestria and Hearth's Warming Eve is coming up. Little does anyone expect that a holiday in another world has been jeopardized. Twilight and her niece are about to receive word of this. What is the great emergency, and can they find a solution before it's too late?

About a decade has passed, Equestria experienced a great many changes that reshaped the continent. A brutal war between the Equestrian Kingdom and the de-facto Dragon Nation devastated the continent and the poor leadership by its ruler, Princess Celestia, eventually ended with her abdication following the war. A new Republic formed afterwards, one that divided power among regions and city states more evenly.

Even so, some are seeking to secede entirely from the fledgling and inexperienced Republic and fears of a Civil War, not seen in centuries, loom over the horizon.

Twilight Sparkle, Flurry Heart, and others are tasked with bringing the crisis to an end before it spirals out of control.

But it's not just the looming threat of war that weighs heavy on Twilight's mind but... a mysterious foe that haunts her dreams...

Hey, peeps. So, this is... my first fanfic since 2012 Yup, 6 years... I had to overcome a lot of self-doubt and esteem issues. But if I ever wanted to get out of my creative and self-doubting funk, I best put out something regardless

This story takes inspiration from Avengers Infinity war.

Also this story was first published on wattpad. I am the maker of the wattpad story so no troubles on that. I am still working on the next few chapters of the story.

All seems well in Equestria. A hesitant peace has settled over the land in the years following the Storm King's defeat, and four new alicorns have claimed their titles: Flurry Heart, Princess of Peace; Iolite Sparkle, Princess of Secrets; Marmora Sparkle, Princess of Tides; and Charon Sparkle, Prince of Shades.

Meanwhile in the Crystal Empire, a cult dedicated to practicing the magic of the dead King Sombra grows in secret, led by a unicorn named Onyx Shard. Onyx, wanting to 'reclaim' the Empire in the name of his posthumous mentor, has begun subtly warping the minds of his followers and urging them toward this goal. They plan a brash attempt to steal the Crystal Heart, hoping to destabilize the Empire enough to allow them to rise and spread their influence.
