Octavia's performance at the wedding of Princess Cadence was cancelled, and her ensemble was replaced by a mysterious DJ! When she goes to investigate, she discovers a world of music she never imagined from the turntables of Vinyl Scratch. She takes a chance and follows the DJ back to her home in Ponyville, and begins a journey full of music, love, laughs, some tears (maybe?), and... an evil plot!? What?

What happens, happens. I think that is one of the rules of Causality as stated by the late, great Douglas Adams. It is a pretty important rule and I use it to guide me through life, no matter what goes on in it. So, when I was driving to an out of town job and found myself in another world, I did my best to take everything in stride.

I would be the first to say the adjustment is not easy. Especially, when the first thing you do is make yourself a pony distrusted, disliked and defamed by some national heros. Thinking about that, I think I have to invoke another Douglas Adams quote. "Don't Panic."

This is the result of me getting bored one day and starting writing. Now that I got a bit of it done, I wouldn't mind honest opinions, and flame away if you feel the need. I have thick skin.

As you might notice, there are a few chapters with a box at the top. These are the ones that my editor and I went through again, and hopefully improved. I'll refrain from changing plot but spelling, grammar and flow are all up for grab. Especially for the early chapters.

So, you had a one night stand with Berry Punch. Cool. You two go to Blue Krab to work off the alcohol. One problem. She's carb crazy. This may be one mare whose check you can't cash.

Derpy and Dinky celebrate their first Hearth's Warming in Ponyville, and although Derpy had intended to spend it alone with her daughter, her friends had other ideas and invite the two of them for an earth pony Hearth's Warming dinner.

Not all the heros in Equestria are noble like the Elements of Harmony, or graceful like the Alicorn Princesses of the Sun and Moon. Some are brutal and uncouth but they are there when needed.

Ponyville has one such hero. The Drunken Mistress, Berry Punch. She gains crazy strength and endurance when drunk, along with a few other abilities. And when the Elements aren't around to save the day she is more than happy to get wasted to save the day.

This is the story of how Berry Punch saved Ponyville when the Elements left to find Chrysalis during the passing of Secretariat Comet.
