So I was relaxing in my room, replaying my oldest, yet still loved trilogy adventure: Baldur's Gate.
I'd passed the first book and was working on the second, and had just changed my Thief main character into an Assassin and input all the changes on the character screen, when, well, it happened.
Nobody told me my laptop was an interdimensional portal, and I suspect that normally, it wasn't. I also suspect that normally, it would have no power to change me into my main character either.
Who I was before is unimportant now. Who I am now is Marketh Shadeblade.
And I will do what I have to in order to survive, or more importantly, carve out a little niche for myself here in pastel pony land.
There might be one or two small problems with that, but it's nothing I won't be able to handle. Right?

Scootaloo's been having the time of her life since she's been back with her mother, Fluttershy. Life has been great, but as time progresses Scootaloo has been wanting to ask her mother a very important question: who in Equestria is her father?

Rainbow Dash never really bought that Gilda just became a jerk just like that, there has to be more to it, she was sure of it. This wasn't the Gilda she knew back at Junior Speedsters camp. Unfortunately though, she can't ask what went on through her head, for all Rainbow knows, Gilda is long gone. So what better way to learn about a griffon than to be the griffon? Convincing Twilight might be a whole other story though!

These tales often fail to tell the whole story, the story of the suffering and trials these heroes often go through in order to protect the others. Spyro, a child who's inclusion in this war was merely coincidental, one that robbed him of his innocence. Cynder, a dragoness who was in the wrong place at the wrong time, and for this sad infraction, was forever scarred, physically and mentally. The unlikely duo have become living incarnations of the word legend.

Each test was harder than the last, Malefor took the total sum of all their strength. However not all tests are the same, and this trial, this final test is one they could never have prepared for.

I got the idea from playing Rockstar's Bully and listening to 20% cooler.

Rainbow Dash, a disgruntled teenager, is forced to enroll in Manticore Academy, the toughest school in Equestria. The moment she sets foot on campus, she is targeted by the different cliques of the school. Rainbow Dash must show everypony that she in no pushover, and maybe make some friends along the way.

Even though this story is humanized, it still has unicorns, pegasus, earth ponies, griffons, ect. It also uses words like anypony, sompony, ect. Look at the cover art for a basis on how the characters look like.

It should be noted that there will be chapters that are focused on a Slice of Life theme. This is mainly done for I could try to make a deeper story than just characters beating each other up for no apparent reason.

Alrighty... I'm not sure what your stance on HiE fics is, but know I enjoy them. This story was also inspired by the Power Lottery to some extent. To make a long story short, I was reading some fanfics on the site when I came across one that mentioned the power lottery. I got curious and looked it up before attempting the Ex(perimental) Tier, since I'm lazy and wanted to re-roll as little as possible. Each of the powers mentioned in this fanfic are the one's that I actually rolled, believe it or not.

6/11/2025: I really want to either re-write this story or delete it, but I'm not sure if I'll find the time or motivation to re-write it... And I'm not sure if I want to delete it either... The story has some things I still love, and some things I hate from my writing- It was written mostly with humor in mind rather than a serious story, but even I cringe at some of the things past me decided to go with, lol.

Trixie and Gilda fight together against the world and created the bonds of friendship and much more based on it. This is a story of never judging a book by its cover.
