After being pulled through a portal, a country boy learns about Equestria and the role he has yet to play in it's survival

The Gold Horseshoe Gals have always enjoyed their trips to Las Pegasus, and this year was no exception. They even picked up a new member in the form of Rainbow Dash.

However, when the gals get back to Ponyville, Granny Smith decides she needs to have a talk with her granddaughter, Applejack. Of concern to the elderly mare, is what her granddaughter seems to think about the elderly gals, especially Granny Smith herself..

But is it really just Applejack underestimating a bunch of old mares, or is there something else afoot? And is there a reason why Granny Smith and the other Gold Horseshoe Gals didn't speak up sooner?

This is a one-shot, not for a competition, just something that got itself into my head and wouldn't leave.

A woman who was sent to Equestria, by a being unknown to all of them, and became much more powerful than she had once been. When she was discovered, not everypony accepted her, but the Mane 6 tried their best to show them that she isn't a bad pony - or in her case a human. During a celebration, they, as well as herself, learned that she had a beautiful, yet powerful singing voice. What she also learned, but kept from the others, is that if she sang with her power, she is also harmed in order to use this power. After being in Equestria for almost a year, she had seen so many things, and had gained so many friends, some she even considered family and they felt the same way. This made her give up trying to go back to Earth - her Earth - and begin a true life here. However, it all went sideways when the Storm King arrived, the guards didn't stand a chance against the opposing army and Celestia, Luna, and Cadence were all imprisoned in crystal, while Twilight had been captured. Azura knew what to do to stop this once and for all, she just hoped her friends would forgive her for leaving them...

... by making the ultimate sacrifice.

In the first Equestria Girls movie, we saw that Sunset Shimmer was the most powerful girl at Canterlot High. But how exactly did she become a bully and how did she cope with the human world after she left Princess Celestia and jumped through the portal? We don't know but we each have our ideas on how.

Update: This story will now be cancelled due to not gaining anymore inspiration for further chapters. The story started to go all over the place with new ideas that I personally didn't like. For those who wanted to follow this story, I'm sorry.

The original God of Chaos was a human, and pushed the world to the brink of annihilation in his quest to force the evolution of the sentient races.

This is a compilation of three pieces I've written, partially to work through the word count limitations Fimfiction insists on. Each is, to put it honestly, a story written for a character's backstory: Chosen Heart, Blindfire, and Collelia. But each is also a very personal piece, and each is experimental in their own ways. The first is a piece depicting a crystal pony mare following the return of the Empire, struggling with her life after Sombra's enslavement of her homeland and being plucked from time. This is not a happy story, possibly not even fully coherent. This is a story of gray, of color washed from the world, and of how one small thing can touch the hearts of those we may never even know. This is a story where the end is the beginning.

The second is a piece depicting a blind zebra stallion soon after his life came crashing down. A journey to the land of Equestria gone afoul, a lifetime's wandering come to a turning point as a lifetime ends. This is a tale of grief, of sorrow, and of hope. It is one of my more unique stories, as its written entirely through monologue and stream of consciousness thought. At no point is there narration in this story. This is a story where the end is the beginning.

The last is a story of ascension told many years and lives past, of a legend who walks the world with cinders at her hooves. This is the tale of an epic war, a struggle for survival, and of the sacrifice of a single mare. Of Entropy's cold embrace, and of the mare who sacrificed all she was in Devotion to those she loved. A mare who, many years and lives later, would write her legend in liquid adamantine. This is a story where the end is the beginning.
