However, one day, a pony of a fallen world brings himself into this to view, to reveal a horrible, horrible truth that shapes both his mind and hers as well.

As the princess's protégé and one of Ponyville's most well-known and influential ponies, Twilight Sparkle has always enjoyed a comfortable life. Together with her friends she has battled and triumphed over dark ponies, dragons, and mischievous spirits. But what happens when her friends desert her and she finds herself hunted by her very mentor after she is wrongfully accused of an attempt on her life? Will she be able to overcome the desertion of her life-long friends? Will she be able to bear the burden of being an outcast? And more importantly, can she unmask the pony behind these acts before they get away with the Princess's murder? It's a race against time to find the culprit before Twilight herself gets caught and subjected to justice in this suspense and pony filled story!

How do you cope when all your friends are dying of old age around you, but you seem not to be growing older at all? Twilight Sparkle tackles this problem for herself the only way she's ever known how: research, and then contacting Princess Celestia for advice. The explanation she gets is nothing like what she could have expected, and it will change Twilight's life forever.

A mysterious stallion shows up at Twilight's door and gives her a journal of unknown origin. Unbeknownst to her this journal contains information about an experiment gone terribly wrong that could release an unknown deity into the world plunging it into madness.

It has been rougly one year since the 'Cupcakes' incident, everyone has suffered as a result. Nothing can ever be the same, ponies live in fear, wondering when it will all be over. But in the darkness, there is a spark, desperately trying to stay lit, a glimmer of hope. Amongst the darkness can there be light again? Can the fallen be redeemed? Sometimes the will of a single pony can bring a spark that ignites a fire, burning in the hearts of others. But is the fire strong enough to overcome the darkness that rests in the heart of Twilight's once close friend?
