When Pinkie's friends can't pick a book to read, she decides to write her own with the help of an editor only she can hear. But why is Pinkie suddenly having memory lapses? Just what is the editor editing? And more importantly, will Pinkie's grammar and formatting ever improve?

The year is 2070. I'm the last brony alive, 82 years old. But I did it. I created the portal. And I'm jumping through. No regrets.

Sleep. Peaceful, calm, and absolutely nuts. When Pinkie, with the help of Pinkie, launches herself out of a cannon, she unleashes herself onto the dreams of all the other residents of Ponyville. It's going to be very long night.

When Pinkie Pie gets invited to the Equestrian Ice Skating Championships, she takes ultra-competitive Rainbow Dash along with her. But then the Great and Powerful Trixie gets involved and wants to make sure Pinkie doesn't win.

"I'm Yah-Shee and he's Arrell, and it's our job to analyze their weapons, armour, and skills to find out who would win an Equestrian Death Battle."

This story takes the concept of Death Battle and carries it over into Equestria, pitting different ponies and other Equestrian creatures against each other in one-on-one fights to the death to see which is superior. Extensive research is done on both combatants to figure out who would win, and is presented as a written battle to be more entertaining.

Readers are asked to suggest possibilities for battles in the comments, or by messaging me. You are allowed to suggest OC characters, as long as they are from a story that is at least somewhat well-known.

"But for now, it's time for an Equestrian Death Battle!"

After Rainbow Dash discovers that they're in a cartoon, the Mane 6 and the Cutie Mark Crusaders look themselves up un the internet. Needless to say, they are not pleased with what they find.

Now a little disclaimer: This was all in questionably good humor. No disrespect intended. Please don't shoot the author!

Lucky Roll has never been lucky. Ever. His father beats him, his brother generally ignores him, his mom is dead, and he has no friends. Fortunately, that last bit changes. But only for a while. Good things never last, and with that streak of lightning, the world he made with her died. But maybe this was for the best after all.

*This story takes place when Pound Cake is a foal, so Pinkie Pie and the Cutie Mark Crusaders have obviously aged as well. Just in case anybody was confused about that.*

Despite his good intentions, things always seem to end disastrously for Pound Cake. The last time he tried to bake, he practically killed his sister. And every time he tries to figure out what his special talent is, he ends up either hurting himself or hurting somepony else. Frustrated, he plans to head into the Everfree Forest, where he'll certainly be able to get his cutie mark . . . right?

He didn't plan on Pinkie Pie following him. And he definitely didn't plan on three other mares following him. The last thing he needed was for ponies to come with him--the point of going into the Everfree Forest was so that he wouldn't be able to hurt anypony else. But maybe those ponies are just the thing he needs to find out who he really is.

I've spent the majority of my life tilling the desolate land in which I live. Every day, I wake up to move useless rocks from one location to another. This is an archaic line of work that my family has clung to for generations. It is a dull, grey existence.

Today, I have woken up in a strange room, lying in a bed that isn't mine. I'm surrounded by five mares whom I've never seen in my life. They claim to be my friends, and expect me to bring joy to the hearts of everypony.

Joy? I don't think I've ever experienced this for myself, so how am I supposed to thrust it upon others?
