Wanting the moment to be perfect, she seeks help from Dusk Shine. The only pony, which she’s aware of, who knows about her crush and the two come up a plan to ensure the day goes off without a hitch, Barb will spend the day with Elusive before finally confessing to him at her party at the end of the day.

But sometimes… even the simplest of plans can have a few hitches.

Twilight Sparkle, a new ruler in Equestria, has only been a princess for a few weeks. She just returned from an adventure in a new world that she never knew of, but she still doesn't feel ready for life as a leader. On the other hoof, Flash Sentry is just a new member of the Canterlot Royal Guard. As a member of the guard, his job is to protect the three princesses in Canterlot, as well as tour with them wherever they go. Spike has always had a thing for Rarity, obviously, but Rarity just doesn't share the same feelings. When Spike turned 18 and he was finally mature, he decided that he was fully ready for Rarity, in every aspect of a relationship. If she wouldn't share a love for each other, well, then Spike would have to take her love by force, by any means necessary.
