Solitary Star has looked for a special somepony his entire life. He has been to more places and worked more jobs than most ponies would believe. No matter how far, high, or low he searches he can never seem to make that connection.

At his wits end he takes the advice of a co-work and contacts a specialist for help. While a pleasant enough mare, Lovey Dovey isn't like any matchmaker he has ever been to. He can't understand what good telling him, "Somewhere out there someone is waiting for you", does him.

Anyone can attest that no matter how skilled a chef may be and how tight a kitchen they run, occasionally something can go awry. A pinch to much salt in the soup, an untossed salad wilting from an extra helping of dressing, or heaven forbid the wrong plate arriving at a patrons table. Anyone that is save Gourmet Palate.

When Gourmet Palate is invited to an event he provides only the most delectable dishes befreit of such amateur mistakes. Instead a string of suspicious events follows him wherever he travels.

It's usually boring work, maintaining an Equestrian border crossing. Doubly so if you're stationed at the Badlands crossing, with no incoming and a general populace still too busy licking its wounds to try anything funny. But it pays well, so guards tend not to complain.

But then you get the occasional day where everything goes wrong. Where an errant changeling with an attitude and an extremely punchable face tries to waltz past the station with a cart full of contraband, and sticky gross contraband at that.

If the border guard can get out of this one with all of their brain cells, they're definitely applying for a transfer to Ponyville.

Written Word has loved exploring the written word his entire life. He got his cutie mark while immersed in a new book and didn't even realize it until the shop keeper pointed it out. He shrugged, asked for the next book in the series, and promptly dug back in.

When he reads a new book by the author C. W. Step something strange happens. Instead of devouring the words and hoarding them like a jealous dragon he is gripped with the need to share like never before. Being the obvious thing he starts writing stories set in the world that C. W. Step created.

Too bad he is oblivious that his stories are more terrible than getting your tail stuck in a laundry press. Clueless he rushes to share them with anypony who will stand still.

Every pony gets a cutie mark, but it might not mean what they think. Velvet Step has always loved dancing and when she got her cutie mark while on stage she thought it must signify her talent in ballet. After all, what else could a ballet slipper represent?

Join Velvet for her second beginning when she first feels the spark that her friends always talked about when following their talents.

A single changeling is blamed for making Chrysalis' plan to take over Equestria fail. He's banished and thrown out of the hive, ending up somewhere far away.

Luckily, he ends up not too far from a certain well-known village, where he can feed to his heart's content.

Needless to say, not everything goes according to plan.

Ethan the Wanderer’s main adventure in Equestria may be over but that doesn’t mean that the tale ends there, oh no, it still goes on. These are the stories that were deemed either too inappropriate (not that way, get your minds out of the gutter) to put in the story or that I simply didn’t have time to get to. Needless to say that if you enter into this without having read either Light or Dark Wanderings then you’re going to be confused, but hopefully, it’ll entice you into checking them out. For those of you who have read them I hope you enjoy this romp through Ethan and Sparky’s travels and life. No, I have no idea how long it’s going to be, or how often I’ll update and keep in mind that this is my C story at the moment.

Expect silliness tempered by seriousness.

After discovering that Cadence is not who she appears to be, Twilight is sent to another world entirely by the disguised Changeling Queen to avoid her plan being disrupted.
When Twilight lands, she discovers that not only have Spike, Owlowiscious and Peewee followed her, but that they've arrived in a world where the main sentient species is human.
There's still a place where they teach magic, though.
Crossover with Harry Potter. Twilight will be effectively taking the role of Hermione.

I've marked this story as cancelled to reflect the unlikelihood of it continuing. If I do come back to it I'll revert that.
