Sometimes a day gets weird really fast. It doesn't normally involve characters from a cartoon show appearing in your house and the potential overtaking of the government, though.

Twilight managed to recover the scroll Starlight Glimmer had used to travel back in time. The problem is, she went waay too far back while testing it.

Twilight Sparkle struggles with life, loss, and sickness after having saved Ponyville from disaster. The day she asked Rainbow Dash out on a date, unsurprisingly, did not go according to plan. Now that she's recovering, she has to deal with the results of what happened, regardless of whether they are good or bad. At least she has the support of her friends, and perhaps, somepony more than just a friend to help her.

But what if they didn't?

What if instead, they saw how miserable she was at how her brother treated her and stayed behind to comfort her and assure her that things would be okay?

When a megalomaniac comes from the stars with the goal of enslaving all of Equestria, it's up to a soldier from the past, a redemption seeking businessmare, a demigod with an ego, an eccentric sharpshooter, and an introverted civilian with a dark secret to put a stop to it.

Of course, forming a team is always harder then it looks, and the six must first learn to work together, and set aside their differences, before they can tackle the greater foe.

For those of you wondering, yes, this serves as a sequel and mega-crossover of my previous stories, Iron Mare, Flutterhulk, Soar and Captain Equestria. Luckily, while this story will obviously include references to the previous stories, I'm going to also make sure that if you haven't had a chance or the time to read those stories, you can still understand what's going on here.

After all, what's the good of making a story only a select few can get any enjoyment out of?

Also, I'd like to note that the cover art was the best piece of fan art I could find with the Mane Six as The Avengers. The actual casting is different. Just a note.

Twilight Sparkle, Equestria's newest alicorn princess, is an intelligent mare, and the most powerful mage alive. Thanks to her and her friends, the magical world of ponies is at peace. But in that peace, her entire life has changed, and Twilight is no longer certain of her place in the world. How unfortunate, then, that a past she's never known is about to come calling.

After a mysterious stranger attempts to steal Twilight's magic crown, she must travel to another universe to confront the thief. There, she finds a world where magic and friendship simply do not work, and a school full of powerful adversaries who stand between her and her crown. If Twilight cannot retrieve it, her failure could mean the destruction of two worlds...
