Or, at the very least, what I've considered canon for the story. This may be very unrealistic... considering more than a few things which are questionable about the science behind this.
Well... this kind of snuck up on me. A couple weeks ago I just happened to realize/ notice that February 18th would be 1 year after I published the last chapter in Reaction. And then I sort of forgot until I looked again a couple days ago. That time I didn't forget about it coming up on one year. I find myself asking where that year went...
Well. It's taken me a while, but I'm finally here... Reaction Chapter 11. The last chapter for Reaction. Next time in the Author's Commentary series, I'll be tackling Critical Mass. Maybe that'll go quicker. Maybe once I finish it I'll be ready to start on the next story... I hope so, but I'd very much like to finish other stories I'm working on right now. Plus I still need to figure some things out.
Well. The big chapter 10. It's big because it's two digits.
I don't have much to say here. I got distracted by other things. I had planned to get this out yesterday, and then get Chapter 11 out tomorrow. I may still get Chapter 11 out tomorrow. I'm not sure. It's tomorrow already...
Last time, I said that there were no brakes on the Author's Train, just brick walls labeled "Writer's Block." Well, I'm not wrong. I just forgot about switches which can redirect the train. This switch, in particular, was called "Avorion." In general, we'll call it Author's Getting Distracted by Games.
I was planning to write today, but I don't feel like it right now. I'm tired. So instead, I'll go ahead and tackle the next chapter in Reaction! It's funny because the last time I started on this post, I thought I was ready for Chapter 8... No idea why I'd forget about Chapter 7, or maybe I'm just really excited to get done with this so I can start the long-awaited commentary on Critical Mass.
I'm really, really looking forward to doing commentary on Critical Mass.
I have chocolate milk, a hot pocket, and good music. I think I'm ready to tackle the next chapter in Reaction scheduled for an Author's Commentary! Well, to be honest, I had planned to be writing for another hour and a half, but I wasn't making progress... which may be because of the music. And because I want to work on stories other than the ones I was working on.
Reaction Chapter 6, everybody!
So, I vaguely remember that I started doing this series, then suddenly and inexplicably stopped. Well, I had actually started on this commentary before a week or so after the last one, but then I just couldn't get myself to work on it. And the reason for that was mostly because of how Chapter 5 started...
Author's Commentary for Reaction Chapter 5, everybody!
You know, to be honest, I'm not really all that motivated to keep doing this right now. Ideally, I would keep at this and complete this Author's Commentary for Reaction and then Critical Mass, while I write other stories and plan for the next story in this series. Of course, ideally, I wouldn't feel overwhelmed and I'd be able to concentrate on writing. And ideal doesn't describe how I feel right now.
It's time to head on into Chapter 3 of Reaction! Maybe one day I'll actually finish this series. Right now, that day feels very far away. You know, since there's nineteen chapters in Reaction and Critical Mass (combined), twenty if you include Meltdown, by the end of this series (current end, Critical Mass), I'm estimating I will have put probably somewhere around 58 hours into making these commentaries. And I'm only 7ish hours into it so far. Man, I have a long ways to go. At least I enjoy
Hey, guys! Time for another Author's Commentary here! Specifically, this will be covering Chapter 2 of Reaction. Originally, I had planned to do this on Wednesday, but things came up and I ended up not feeling right for doing it then. Then on Thursday, I thought about doing it, but I didn't and I don't remember the reason I didn't. I also thought about doing this yesterday, but I decided that since it would be Friday and I had planned to do one of these on Saturday, it probably wasn't the best
On Wednesday, I posted the Author's Commentary on Meltdown, but now we're going to move into the mane attraction, Reaction! Specifically, I'll be doing one blog post per chapter, since otherwise this post, going by the Meltdown commentary, would end up being 55,000 words long.
Hello, everypony! If you're interested in the sequel to Reaction, I have some information for you. This is probably going to be the first of three or so blogs about the sequel I'll make over the next few months leading up to the sequel where I share some thoughts, comments, and information about the sequel. First, a warning, while I will attempt to avoid spoiling things, there are some things I will have to address in order to prevent everyone who chooses to read this post from becoming
Well, everybody, I have news to share about the next chapter of Reaction. Two things, really. I promise there won't be spoilers, although I will be talking about one of the scenes that I currently have included in the chapter- a scene that may not make it to the final version. More information below the break.
