Marble Pie is hoping for a bit of change in her life, but with her father, mother and sister still resistant to it, all she can do is simply stay quiet and soldier on. But that doesn't take away her desire to at least find out what else there is to life besides aching for a lost love, or doing the same thing every day.

This is a Jinglemas story for FanOfMostEverything. The man. The legend. HE WHO WE ALL LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING COMMENTS FROM.

His request for this year was: No genre notes, but I'd like to see something with Limestone and/or Marble Pie.

So here we go!

Marble loves her family.

She helps them, cares for them, and would never, ever treat them poorly.

She can't really say the same for herself.

Marble Pie is a quiet mare, and it is no secret that her sister, Pinkie, does more than enough speaking on her behalf.

However, she has a reason for being this way, one she has never shared before with anybody.

When a certain human meets her, will his understanding and love corrode the iron bars of self-hatred she has trapped herself behind?

They say things didn't use to be like this. They say things were different, before Luna came back 60 years ago, but Detective Hard "Hardy" Boiled of the Detrot Police Department has never known any world other than that demarcated by the seedy streets of his beloved decaying metropolis; a world in which the coroners sing and dance, surveillance bugs have personality disorders, and the Chief of Police is a scarier entity than most of the eldritch things the city attracts.

The grey unicorn who turned up dead outside the posh High Step Hotel seemed like just another case, but her missing horn is the pointy tip of a very large and nasty iceberg. It's up to Hardy and his friends - a rejected monster hunter, a psychic cab driver, and an underground antiques heir - to find out what’s going on in an investigation that promises to stick more than a cupcake into the very eye of Detrot.

Especially if Hardy has anything to say about it.

[2nd Person Perspective]

Working as a waiter at Canterlot's various social gatherings is a nice job. Especially since you began chatting with the cello player of the usual quartet, Octavia. You've gotten to know a lot about her, but one night there seems to be something on her mind. You offer her a drink to ease her nerves and you bring your glasses together in cheers.

Next thing you know, you wake up in a strange hotel room in a town you've never been to next to a certain gray mare.

So when the local slaughter house closes down, she takes it upon herself to find a new source to satisfy her dark hunger. Thankfully, Fluttershy's house is practically crawling with meat.
