This story is a sequel to The Arrival of Ford Mustang

It's been over a year since the Arrival of Ford Mustang, a former human being from Earth, now a full-fledged Pegasus in Ponyville, and things have been going really well with him and Rainbow Dash ever since they became a couple nearly a year ago. With their one-year anniversary coming up, Ford decides it's time to pop the question and ask Rainbow for her hoof in marriage. However, an unknown force of darkness rises from the shadowy depths of the earth and achieves his ultimate plan that can not only seal the fate of Equestria, but for the rest of the world as well.

Now, without the aid of the Princesses and the Elements of Harmony, it's up to Ford Mustang and his elderly dragon friend, Hindel, to set things right and stop this monstrous tyrant once and for all. But is Ford up to the daunting task at hand? What kind of allies will he run into along the way? And what is Hindel's connection with the vengeful pony from long ago? Once, Ford was just a human who led a boring and lonely life. This side-story takes place in-between "The Arrival of Ford Mustang" and "The Epic Quest of Ford Mustang."

Several months have passed since his arrival to Ponyville, and not only is Ford Mustang staying there permanently as a full-fledged Pegasi, but he is also in a steady relationship with Rainbow Dash, who is now a rising star as a member of her dream team, the Wonderbolts. As of lately, Ford is looking forward to spend some quality time with his beautiful, blue angel during her big break this Hearth's Warming Eve.

But with the holiday season fast-approaching, he will have to come up with a great gift for her. The question is will his present meet up to her expectations on their very first Hearth's Warming Eve together? And what kind of surprises does Rainbow have in stored for him? Find out in this holiday special where they discover the joys of giving and receiving!

If Celestia is God, then who are her Angels? Based on Cupcakes by Sgt. Sprinkles: In the aftermath that follows the tragedy at Sugarcube Corner, the Elements of Harmony are lost and broken. However, one night, Luna visits Twilight's dreams to inform her of a powerful resurrection spell. When Dash returns, she isn't the pony that her friends remember and what's more, an 'angel' has followed her into the living realm.

After Rainbow Dash loses a wing in an accident Twilight finds herself to be the only pony capable of restoring it. But can she reconcile the month long treatment with her suppressed feelings for the pegasus?

I wanted to change a lot in this story before submitting it here, but then it took longer than expected and I had other things to take care of. So, after only the most basic revisions, here it is in all its imperfect glory. And in chapter form, too.

After one mishap, what started off as a romantic night for Rainbow Dash and Soarin' will shape the rest of their lives forever.

That'd be all fine and dandy for Rainbow Dash, but Soarin' isn't making things any better for himself when he keeps uttering the same word that annoys Rainbow to no end.
