This story is a sequel to Flurry Heart's Story: Oh, Mother, Where Art Thou?

It's time for the annual Ponyville Fair, and Storm Streak is excited to finally ride the Leviathan! Unfortunately, excitement turns to despair when he finds he is too young and has to miss out. Even with some encouragement from his father, Stormy wishes to be older so he could get his way. News of a powerful artifact with the ability to change someone's age sends Stormy on a search for it, but using its power will come at a great cost.

Inspired by the official show, this is part of a fan-made sequel series I created called "Flurry Heart's Story", which documents the adventures of Flurry Heart as she makes friends and faces new and familiar villains, some of which may still be redeemable.

Written for a Quills and Sofas Speedwriting panic. The prompt was something to do with lightning. I can’t really remember to be honest. It was a year ago! Thought I should polish it up a little bit and get it out there.

Granny Smith has lived a long life, everypony knows that. Thus, it is of little surprise when she learns that her life is soon going to come to an end. But that doesn't make the news any easier to bear for her family.

With the death of Granny Smith now a certainty, the Apple family does their best to prepare for the inevitable. And when the end does come, they all come together to grieve the passing of one of their own.

But for the Apple siblings, Granny Smith's death will hit especially hard. Fortunately, they will have the support of friends and family alike to lean on.

Brush your teeth, comb your mane, go to bed. It's not that hard, but every night Starswirl risks his life to make sure that his two charges get these steps done.
