As the sun goes down and the moon rises to take its place, a creature will emerge from the darkness; a creature that has long been thought to be nothing more than a mere legend. And on that same night, a mare of both mysterious and tragic background will rise up and pursue this creature. Who is this huntress fueled with a burning passion, and what exactly is she hunting?

Years ago, Twilight preformed a spell to teleport a notebook to herself that she needed but had left behind at her home. The spell worked, just not as she intended. The notebook was actually a diary, and it was not hers. It was the diary of a human boy, she read the diary making foot notes as she went along until, much to her surprise, it vanished. The next day she tried it again to find that her foot notes had been responded too. Over the years the two wrote back and forth like pen palls. Their friendship grew and grew until one day the letters stopped, until today, today she receives one last letter.

Stuck on desk duty from a broken wrist, Sergeant Piobar's day got off to a bad start. It's April Fool's Day, which only adds to the misery. Between prank calls from a pay phone, and a pair of homicide detectives who have nothing better to do, the phone just keeps ringing. And just when he thinks he's eked out a moment of peace, a pony walks through the front door.

Between the events of The Return of Harmony and Keep Calm and Flutter On, the daughter of a once-famous Equestrian Alchemist is discovered in the basement of her father's home, still alive and still young. Twilight must unravel the mystery as to what her father was up to, and why he imprisoned his only daughter.

How would a being like Discord want to be remembered after he's gone? Well, if you're curious, he did actually write a will. To the surprise of nobody, its contents are bizarre and mildly disturbing.
