One day whilst out practising, Luna gets spooked by a butterfly and accidentally sends it to the moon. Running high on giddiness at her new power, she decides to play several pranks on her sister Celestia.

Celestia was a filly living on an isolated farm with her sister and harboring dreams of greatness. Chrysalis was a black goo poured out from a screaming wound in the walls of reality, with a weak grasp on the appropriate amount of fangs one should have. Friendship was inevitable.

Big Macarena Apple and Butterscotch Carington had met under the strangest circumstances. After accidentally catching the farm mare in a bout of heat, the two of them had spent weeks getting to know each other very intimately.

But what happens after the heat dies down, and the two of them return to their normal lives? Do they allow what they shared to pass into fading memory, or do they seize the opportunity to allow something more to grow between the two of them?

These two unlikely ponies love each other from the bottom of their hearts. And they wouldn't have it any other way.

Dedicated to Jargon Scott, the talented artist who drew the cover art, and who's picture inspired me to write this story. Also, a huge thanks to BobtheLurker, who did the prereading for this story.

Family is a complicated thing, it comes with all sorts of expectations, hopes, and unsolicited advice.

It also implies an abundance of drama, this time involving a Changeling Queen, an unlucky messenger and, at least tangentially, a rubber duck.

Can there ever truly be peace after war? Queen Chrysalis's actions have emblazoned, in the mind of many ponies, the image of changelings as monsters out to enslave and enthrall all ponies as love-starved food stock. But not all changelings agree with her. Two changelings, having foresworn loyalty to Chrysalis, seek out Princess Twilight Sparkle in an effort to begin peaceful relations by asking three simple questions about liquid fear, irrigating ponies, and cupcakes.

Yeah, the ponies don't get it either at first.

Totally not written in one stream of thought session, honest.

Twilight Sparkle goes in for her first physical after ascending to an alicorn.

Nurse Redheart was not prepared for this by any stretch of the imagination.

This story is a sequel to The Night Princess and the Day Job

Luna got a day job to help her better relate to the ponies of Equestria, and all was well. But when a niece she knows next to nothing about is getting married, the Princess of the Night offers to take a night shift at the StarsBucked near Canterlot University as a way of blowing off a little steam.

Pity it's the Night Shift of the Living Dead.

This piece is a sequel to The Night Princess and the Day Job, and should probably be read as such.

Luna's having trouble. She doesn't know where she fits in, and she can't run night-court until she can at least understand the modern problems of modern ponies. In an effort to find a place in this brave new world, the Princess of the Night decides there's only one solution.

Get a job.

After all, how hard could it be to get a job working retail, with Hearth's Warming Eve coming up?
