I thought the trend was toward releasing as soon as they were finished, and I didn't want to leave readers hanging wondering if the story was going to be finished. (Also, Seeing Sanguine only got going toward the middle, though I suppose I could have held on to the back half.)
Word of advice, if you have a story that is already finished, but broken into many chapters, release the chapters daily, not all at once. It helps attract more readers by giving them a larger window of time to spot it.
