Tired of not getting the respect he deserves from his friends on the weather team, Thunderlane snaps and quits. After they try to get him back and fail, Thunderlane decides to leave Ponyville in the middle of the night. He moves to Cloudsdale, where a certain griffon catches his eye. Thunderlane changes his appearance and starts his new life, while his friends try to track him down in order to apologize.

Soarin was told to do one thing. One thing that would bring glory and fame to the Wonderbolts, and of course to himself. It was so simple, but in a incredible turn of events, he stumbled upon the only individual willing to volunteer herself for the cause.

All that Rainbow Dash wanted was a quiet and relaxing trip to Brayside Beach along with her friends. Instead, they are all pulled into the middle of frenzied preparations for an upcoming festival. Despite the new friendships and rivalries forming around her, she finds herself focused on Swift Flying, the stallion she met months ago. Since then, they've experienced hardships and great times but under the summer sun, they discover whether friendship is all they truly share.

Twilight goes with Rainbow to watch her race in Cloudsdale only to suddenly find herself being 'wooed' by Thunderlane.

I don't really know the meaning of this. I was going for a minimum length little thing because I saw the cover pic. Then it gets featured. Maybe it means I can die peacefully now. Except people want me to write more. Dunno what to do with my life anymore.

To a young pale blue pegasus named Soarin', his best friend, an attractive mare by the name of Spitfire, is the most beautiful pony in all of Equestria. Having known each other since foalhood, the two pegasi have a bond that few friends share. But as they mature, Soarin' has fallen more and more for his alluring orange haired friend.
But as far as he knows, she doesn't feel the same way...until one fateful Hearts and Hooves Day in the floating city of Cloudsdale.

Rated teen for a couple sexual references in early chapters, and some suggestive behavior later on. I might have to bump it up if things get much worse, though. (Not explicitly NSFW)

After discovering reading is pretty cool during a hospital stay, Rainbow Dash has a third random encounter with one of the Wonderbolts she doesn't know everything about: Soarin'. A series of comedic adventures leaves him owing her big time yet again, leading to a friendship that turns out to be one heck of a wild ride and a whole lot more.
