All righty. Some announcements:

1. If you haven't noticed by now, the revamped Chapter 1 and 2 of Return to Flight are now out. I'm releasing Chapters 3 and 4 on November 15 and 22 respectively.

2. Once those chapters are out, Brayside Crush will be coming out of hiatus. Chapter 4 needs plenty of editing but it should see the light of day before Christmas. Let's just say you'll be reading more about a certain redhead:

First revised chapter comes out on 10/24. I decided I'll just link to the Fanfiction upload for anyone that wants to read the old version.

Great news!

I will finally start releasing the improved Return to Flight in about a week or so. I will make the old version available via link while replacing the FIM chapters one by one. There's no set timetable on when new material comes out but eventually, you'll be able to read a story that's (hopefully) closer to Brayside Crush's quality.

Chapter 2 will come out next month. I haven't decided the exact date but it will probably be the 15th or 22nd. It depends on how fast I can edit it.

There will a comic coming out this Friday to tide you over, though.

Reception is about where I had expected given it's the off-season; decent but not great reception with an average number of views. I'll take it because I'm really doing those that have been banging on my door about finishing off this series. You know who you are.

Update on Brayside Crush - I've just finished writing the first draft for Chapter 4. While I have no real schedule, I'm thrilled that I have a fair amount of material at this point of the game. I'm in a bit of a pickle.

I'm currently writing Chapter 4 of Brayside Crush. I'd much like to keep writing Crush but I may have to stop at some point soon. As I've mentioned before, I can't release Crush at all before letting everyone read the revised Return to Flight. That whole piece, 90K words in all, requires quite a bit of editing, which I wanted to handle with my occasional stepping in to tweak passages and whatnot.

Hi there!

Brayside Crush is coming along a bit slow but that's okay. The first few chapters are the hardest, having to work with 10+ characters and establishing setting for a new town. Just to give you an idea, the story spans over five days and even after 15K words, I'm still stuck on Day 1. Crossing my fingers that once I get past that hurdle, everything else will fall in place and I'll have enough material that I can upload one chapter a month.

The treequel to Return to Flight and Top Wings, Brayside Crush, is finally being written. In fact, at the time of this post, I'm just under the 10K word count, enough that I could post almost two complete chapters.

1. I have another comic coming out on Friday. A short one but next month's will be the longest. I even have a comic completed for May. With luck, I can pump one out monthly.

2. Also on Friday, I'll be making an announcement. That's all I can say for now.
