Zevan was a loyal changeling and always did his queen's bidding, although he quietly questioned why changelings should end centuries of secret but peaceful intermingling with the pony population. After being expelled from Canterlot by the irresistible force of love and badly injured after crash-landing in trees, he had to reconsider his future. Ponies knew that changelings existed now, and the only example of them was Chrysalis' attempt to overthrow Celestia and their attack on Canterlot's population. His kind would be pariahs for the foreseeable future and maybe even their disguises would not keep them safe. A unicorn mare with a broken horn might do the trick though.

The horrors of the catacombs have turned to distant memories for Celestia, Twilight, and Luna. Discord’s change of heart and Twilight’s coronation have helped to ease and erase the mental scars from that harrowing night. The three princesses can even smile and laugh as Nightmare Night moves into full swing.

Yet, it should never be forgotten that those who have been touched by Tirek are forever within his grasp.

Your body is alien. Your instincts are alien. Your surroundings are dark, and damp. From murderous siblings to mysterious rituals of love; the life of a newly hatched changeling queen is confusing and dangerous. Are you Mint Leaf; adopted daughter of Lyra and Bon Bon? Or are you Chrysalis's spawn; heir to the changeling throne and yet to earn her name? To make matters even more confusing; old memories from a life before this one linger in the back of your head. They refuse to be forgotten.

With only his hiking harness, and a meager bag of supplies, he’s going to need to find his way out of the pitch-black caves of the spiraling Everdark before he starves to death, or the denizens of the deep devour him. But despite his bleak circumstances, he finds help from an unexpected sharp-fanged ally.

Being my first attempt at a first-person romantic comedy, this takes a slightly different approach to the concept of being a human stranded in Equestria.

But when a voice in a strange dream starts guiding him and an even stranger ship shows up in port, maybe he's finally been given the chance he's always wanted.

But when Griffins and Changelings are thrown into the mix, along with the Royal fleet, was this really the adventure he was looking for? Or a tragedy waiting to happen?

Four days after the invasion three changelings strive to survive in the sewers of Canterlot. Their kind is gone, and they have no idea how, or whether there are any changelings left from their army. With the likely possibility that their hive now tries to select its new leader in a vicious battle, the trio of drones decide to stay away from home for a while. They plan to return when they have a higher chance of survival in their own home, than in Equestria, where they are surrounded by enemies. But for now the changelings’ chance to stay alive lies in a quiet little village near the great city of Canterlot.

During a surprise visit to Sweet Apple Acres at the tail end of cider season, Princess Luna has just a bit too much to drink, and when she makes a rather inappropriate joke, Twilight comes to the very uncomfortable realization that she has never seen Celestia excuse herself to use the restroom.
