King Sombra’s dark influence was obliterated by the Crystal Heart, and the villain is well and truly dead. But when he attempts to steal the afterlife of an innocent victim, a human spirit is left hurtling towards Equestria, where this unfortunate soul is revived into the only vessel available: the reconstituted body of King Sombra himself.

Thus, a cheerfully oblivious alien is crammed into the form of the most evil and malicious being Equestria has ever known. Not that Shining Armor and Cadence know this, of course. As far as they are concerned, the King is back and he’s lost his fricking mind.

Trixie appears once more in Ponyville, but something is...off...about her. She isn't speaking in third person. She is convinced that she is supposed to be the Element of Magic, that Celestia is supposed to be the Tyrant Sun, that Luna is supposed to rule as Equestria's monarch - and that Twilight is supposed to be a wanted criminal. Has she gone insane? Or is something bigger beginning - with consequences that Trixie, Twilight, and two entire worlds, can only guess at?

The long-awaited Crisis on Two Equestrias begins at last!

While reading the stories of The Lunaverse can only enhance your reading experience, it is not necessary for this story! It is being written as completely, 100% stand-alone, with no prior knowledge necessary!

After a teleportation spell gone awry, half of the Element-Bearers have disappeared. Six months have passed, and the Princesses fear that their old enemies may rise up once again.

Fortunately, Twilight, Rainbow Dash and Applejack have finally returned, along with three battle-weary dragons and three bedraggled humans. Battle-hardened and scarred, no one can believe that these are the same mares they used to know.

They tell a tale of world far beyond Equestria. A world where magic and technology are worshipped side by side. A place where a thousand different races eke out a living in the midst of unending combat. And a massive, unbelievably complex world, used as a playground between two vengeful gods.

A place called "Byzantine".

This is inspired by Crossed Paths and On the Wings of Angels. Includes characters from Star Wars, Dresden Files, Skylands, the Dark Tower series, and How to Train your Dragon.
This is a multiversal fic, and features characters and places from all across fiction.

Sci-fi AU. Twilight Sparkle has lived on the Cantalot Space Station, capital of the Solar Empire, all her life. But can she adapt and make friends when her teacher, Queen Celestia, sends her away to be the new science officer of the spaceship Ponyville on its voyage to explore the galaxy for much needed resources for the war against the Confederacy of Species?

Additional background information can be found within the Data Files Collections. If you wish to see a part of the universe explained, let me know and I'll throw in a data file.

'Dark' tag refers to the war, which appears mainly as a background event. Other, dark elements may appear in later chapters.

The 'verse is a weird place. One moment, you're being attacked by flesh-eating monstrosities, the next, you're sitting down to dine with a horse.

The crew of Serenity don't quite fit in with the law. They don't quite fit in outside of it, either. They make do by handling whatever jobs that come their way, and scavenging what they can from derelict ships when the opportunity arises. But one such scavenging operation goes horribly wrong.

Reavers are the stuff of legends and nightmares. Men who flew out to the edge of the galaxy, at the end of all human knowledge. When they came back, they weren't men anymore. Foul creatures who kill the lucky ones, and desecrate the bodies of the rest before ripping the corpses apart.

Serenity flees from a Reaver infested wreckage, but not before the Reavers follow. Catastrophically damaged, the ship descends on the surface of a planet which holds more than its fair share of mysteries.

Unfortunately, the Reavers are hot in pursuit.

Rated "Teen" for occasional mature themes, such as violence, profanity in both the English and Mandarin language, potential showing of blood, possible mild sexual themes, poorly executed penis jokes, and intense amounts of Jayne.

The magic of friendship flows through every creature, big and small. They just need a little push in the right direction. Tired of living under their masters' neglect, insanity or just plain monotony, the pets all desire (in one way or another) to take life in a new, more exciting direction.

When a mysterious curse is laid on the Elements of Harmony, turning the bearers into pets and their pets into ponies, the misfits embark on a dangerous trek to break it. What was originally meant to be a quick trip around Equestria turns into a harrowing journey that expands from the comfy suburbs of Ponyville to the forgotten ruins of an underground kingdom to the biting tundra of the north, all filled with odd characters, laughter and an evil that has lasted for generations as the pets each embrace their inner hero. Because as we all know: the greatest of legends always start with the smallest beginnings.
