All of these stories are based on random things I've thought about while watching My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. Where in the show's run they fall into... I honestly haven't decided, nor do I think it really matters. All these 'chapters' are really just short stories that each pick up at some random point from the last. The Everfree forest.

It is a blemish upon the beautiful face that is Equestria. They say that it is a land shrouded in chaos, where the plants, the weather, and the denizens of the forest themselves all act on their own accord. It is commonly regarded as a place of evil, for the natural laws of Equestria do not apply to it.

While most tend to steer clear of the accursed forest, one too many accidents within it have prompt the need to finally remove the Everfree once and for all. The princesses, in response to the request of ponies as well as their own opinions, have opted to have every inch of the Everfree cut down for the creation of a new settlement on the grounds of environmental preservation and research.

It has been three months since a logging crew had been dispatched to deal with the problem. Most of the team never returned to report their progress, and those who have were forever haunted by what they had experience...

How long can this war possibly last? Are they real, or is it just my dreams? Have I truly lost my mind?

Even if it is insanity, it's the only escape I've got from this jungle...

Sometimes, it is better to speak without saying anything at all. But when not saying anything at all is the only option, it can make life much harder.

A man awakes in a new place, alone, yet not. Will he meet someone, or somepony, that will accept him for his differences?

Hark is a sophomore in college and is quite the smart guy. He is also a person of few words... literally. But the life that he was mostly content with changes when one special incident occurs, one he wished never happened, because now, he has a talking orange horse right in his face.

That's not COMPLETELY insane... is it?

Twilight and Rainbow are called to another adventure, which leads them to the Zebra civilization in the bayou. Zecora is distressed when she hears from her mother that the sinister magic of voodoo has been sensed in her home village, and there could be a dark curse unleashed upon the land. It is up to Twilight and Rainbow to aid Zecora in her endeavor, and save the zebras from evil.

But little do they expect that they would run into Equestria's greatest treasure hunter, who would guide them through the dark swamps and the hypnotic reach of voodoo.

Luna discovers a lone member of the Royal Night Guard stationed beneath her private balcony. As a question becomes a conversation, as an evening becomes a week, and as an annoyance becomes a friendship, an unfortunate truth looms large in her mind: nothing is ever as it seems, neither in dreams nor reality.

Earth, the birthplace of humankind, is dying.

Full-scale nuclear war has ravaged its surface, killing billions in the process, leaving Earth a glowing radioactive wasteland.

Years before the war, colonization of Earth's natural satellite, Luna. Was well underway to the point that dozens of domes dotted the lunar surface. When the war started, colonization funding was greatly reduced, bringing the effort to a halt.

Now, years after the war, the colonies find themselves with two options.

Die from starvation, or try to find a new home.

They chose the latter.

Old cargoships, once used to transfer supplies, were hastily retrofitted to the best of their abilities and outfitted with experimental warp drives salvaged from testing stations scattered around Earths orbit.

Three ships, the ULC Coral, the ULC Nightmare, and the ULC Amber in Arms were outfitted with these experimental warp drives and sent filled to the brim with everything needed to start over.

Humanity reaches out in need of a home, but what they find turns out to be a little too much for what they bargained for.

But as the sands of time shifted, the sisters became more focused on the well-being of their nation, and left its defense to the military. When nightmare moon appeared, however, she was too much for the military to handle, and a new set of defenders arose. The Elements of Harmony. After banding together and successfully vanquishing Nightmare Moon, The Elements of Harmony have kept Equestria safe ever since. However, an old terror for eons ago has risen once more, and his power may be enough force Celestia and Luna to pick up the battlesword once more and fight for their nation. The land of Equestria.

Takes place during & after Season 6. The story will branch off of show canon from the season 6 finale, and will exist in it's own alternate universe from there. (I hope that makes sense!)
