Dash's friends admitted to their parts in their trick, but one event is left unaccounted for. Who was it who saved the mare in the balloon. Did the 5 really invent Mare Do Well themselves or did they merely borrow the mantel in their attempts to teach Dash a lesson. This is the story of the young mare who became an unknowing pawn in their plan and her continued adventures as The Mysterious Mare Do Well.

This is my first fanfic ever, It was based on the idea i had when watching the Mare Do Well episode and wanting it to be a real hero rather then what we got, so when they failed to mention the first event, the idea of them impersonating the real Mare Do Well grew. Starsweets, daughter of Princess Luna, is miserable without any friends. Then her mother sends her to Ponyville to try and make her feel better. She then meets the Cutie Mark Crusaders and has a pit in her stomach when the start laughing at her. Her life, and story, starts there...

Twilight Sparkle is worried that Princess Celestia's power is fading because of her defeat at the hooves of Queen Chrysalis. She pays a visit to Cadence about the origins of the alicorns in hopes of finding a way to restore Celestia's power. The story goes much deeper than she ever thought and the knowledge may carry dire consequences.

Celestia is dying. Or at least it seems so. Afflicted with a curse that is destroying her very nature, she sets a plan in action.
The Bearers of the Elements of Harmony will take the throne in her wake... Not that they know that yet...
