The life of a strange alicorn, Starsweets, and her years as a princess
Starsweets, daughter of Princess Luna, is miserable without any friends. Then her mother sends her to Ponyville to try and make her feel better. She then meets the Cutie Mark Crusaders and has a pit in her stomach when the start laughing at her. Her life, and story, starts there...
Princess Luna laid down as she held her new daughter in her hooves. She was a sight. She was dark blue like her mother with black hair. But, on her hooves and on the tip of her wings and horn, it started out as solid white, then as it went out, it looked kinda like stars. When she opened her eyes, they were orbs of white and blue. She nuzzled Luna and said her first word. "Mama?" she said yawning. Luna chuckled at the sleepy filly. "You, my little one, are as sweet as sweet can be. But, still, you are a Princess of the night. You, you are my Starsweet." Luna said. Then she started singing. "Starlight, star bright, first star I see tonight, I wish I may, I wish I might, have this wish I wish tonight." After she was done, she nuzzled Starsweet and put her in her crib. The next morning, Luna had royal duties to attend to. Painfully, she left Starsweet in the trusting hooves of Princess Cadence. Cadence played with Starsweet all day until her mother came home. That night, after Luna raised the moon, she took watch of the castle. When she was satisfied, she went back to her room and found somepony was making an attempt of kidnapping Starsweet. Luna bucked them in the eye and they stumbled backwards, dropping the baby princess. Starsweet heard her mother scream and her small, but speedy, wings kicked in and she zoomed back to her mother while the kidnapper did a face plant onto the ground. Luna made a vow that day, that her daughter should be heavily protected at all times.
"Mother?" asked 6 year-old Starsweet. "Yes?" answered Luna, now in her early thirties. "Why do I have to be announced as a Princess of the Night? I thought we already did that!" said Starsweet, blowing a strand of black hair out of her face. "Ummm..... I forgot to mention to everypony that you are my daughter." Luna said, flickering her eyes side to side. "Mother! Is THAT why you keep me cooped up?" asked the annoyed princess. "You'll know someday my Starsweet." said Luna quietly. The young princess by now had discovered her special talent and had earned her cutie mark. It was a crescent moon with a silver heart next to it. She looked kinda sad and angry. I've been alone all these years, and she STILL won't tell me! thought an annoyed princess. "How about you take a trip to Ponyville dear?" Luna said. "I'll be awful busy with royal duties and Aunt Celestia's student, Twilight Sparkle, would be happy to watch you." Luna was actually her to Twilight and Spike to try and make some friends. "Okay Mother. I'll be nice, as always, and try to make some friends." Starsweet said with a weak smile. A small female black and white dragon came in, flapping her wings like nuts. "Don't go! Please don't go!" the black lizard started bawling. "Starlight? I thought you wanted to come with me?" asked the smiling princess to her scaly friend. Luna chuckled at the confused look on the baby dragon's face. "Where are you going? I was talking about that trip to the Everfree Forest you were planning." Starlight said. Starsweet shook her head. "That trip is canceled for now. I'm going to Ponyville until Mother is done with her duties." The next day, with her bags packed up and everything with Starlight on her back, she got on a carriage to carry her to Ponyville. And that little fillies and colts, is where our story begins...
Twilight Sparkle woke up in the middle of the night to the sound of a carriage landing. Wait. Landing? Twilight jumped out of bed as fast as she could and went to meet Princess Luna and Princess Starsweet. Twilight opened the library door and saw the two princesses stepping out of the carriage with Princess Luna's dark hair streaming behind as she walks. Starsweet just moved some dirt around with her front leg and looking down. "Hello, Your Highness! And this little one must be Starsweet?" Twilight said as cheerfully as she could, while she was still half asleep. Starsweet just cuddled up next to her mother and Luna nodded to Twilight. A little black, well not really back, more like dark blue, and white dragon came out from behind Starsweet. It was the same size as Twilight's "little brother" Spike. "Hi! I'm Starsweet's bestest friend Starlight!" the mini-dragon said as she started to flap her wings like a humming bird. "Oh. Uhm, nice to meet you. I'm Twi..." Twilight said as Starlight inturrupted her. "I'm sorry to inturrupt, but I know who you are. I've read an updated version of Equestria's Heros and they did a 13 page report on you and your friends." During all this, Starsweet was humming a small song. "That's a pretty song Princess. What's it called?" asked Twilight. Starsweet just mumbled a little. "Story of a Foal" she said again, sencing that Twilight couldn't hear her. "It sounds very pretty." Twilight said. "Well I'll have to go. Good-bye Twilight Sparkle. Good-bye Starsweet." said Princess Luna. Starsweet had five bags and Starlight only had a black basket with a worn out star and moon blanket.
The next morning Spike woke up with a scream because he saw a blue and white she-dragon fling around. "Uhm! TWILIGHT! WE'VE AN INTRUDER!!!" Spike yelped. Twilight was helping Starsweet get everything together for her first day at school. "Spike, that's Starlight, Starsweet's friend." Twilight said. Starsweet was already to go and Twilight was walking her down to the school. Starsweet was humming another song which she said was "Tic Tock". Twilight started to hum along but she couldn't keep up. Starsweet had books, pencils, and a blue and white quill pen with ink, just in case. Along the walk, Twilight met up with Pinkie Pie. "Oh wow! A princess! I should throw her a Royal Pinkie Pie Pinkalisous Party!" Pinkie blabbed as usual. Pinkie Pie then ran off to get party supplies. When they got to the school, Twilight saw Sweetie Belle, Applebloom, and Scootaloo. Twilight quickly nuzzled her then ran back to the library.
The bell then rang for school. Starsweet walked in and found that the teacher, Cheerile, was waiting for her. "Everypony, this is Princess Starsweet." she said to the class. Starsweet heard a lot of gasping from the young fillies. "Uhm... please just call me Starsweet." she said quietly but not quiet enough that they could hear her. A light pink filly up front started giggling with the gray filly next to her. "Diamond Tiara, Silver Spoon? Would you like to tell everypony what you were giggling about?" asked Miss Cheerilie. "Oh, nothing Miss Cheerilie, she's not a real princess though" said Diamond Tiara and whispering to her friend. Starsweet just pulled her ears down and hid behind her black and white tipped mane. Starsweet made it through the rest of the day until recess.
At recess she went to talk to the three fillies she saw that morning. "Uhm.... hi." she said. "Oh! Hi! I'm Applebloom, and this is Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo!" said the yellow filly in the middle with a big smile. Starsweet returned the smile with a small giggle. "You are staying with Twilight, right?" asked Sweetie Belle. "Umm... yes. Mother is doing some royal duties and I'm staying with Miss Twilight while she's busy." said Starsweet quietly. It got quiet all of the sudden. Starsweet started humming "Pony Rock Anthem" to fill the silence. The two fillies from class came up. "Diamond Tiara. Go away. Don't you know your not wanted?" Scootaloo said snarkily. Starsweet tried to hide behind her new friends. She still saw her. Diamond Tiara then pointed a hoof at Starsweet and started chanting "Starsweet Starsweet baby baby Starsweet, couldn't take the heat" . Next thing you know, all the fillies on the playground are chanting "Starsweet Starsweet baby baby Starsweet, couldn't take the heat"
Starsweet started to tear up and she ran for the library, passing Twilight on her way to pick up Starsweet. Twilight saw a streak of darkblue and tears. She ran back to the library. She got back to the library, and Starlight was now conforting Starsweet, and Spike was trying to make her feel better too. Twilight nuzzled Starsweet and she looked up. When she saw it was Twilight, she quickly wiped away her tears and ran into the guest room where she and Starlight where staying for the moment. Starlight curled into a ball and curled her tail around her. Spike went over and tried to confort her. Twilight then spent the rest of the day wondering what happened to Starsweet.

Dear Readers, Before I let Starsweet take over, I'd like to say hi, Melody a.k.a Flitter here. This story will be discontinued because of all the negitive comments given. If you have been waiting for the next chapter, I'm sorry, blame it on the haters. I have also been busy on other stories, too busy to work on this one. Starsweet is gonna take over so until next time!
Uh... thanks Melody. Now as you know, in the story I am placed as a shy pony when talking in front of a crowd, but not true. Melody has a good reason for discontinuing the story. Haters gonna hate, I know, but only two people liked it, one not counting Melody and I. Plus, a lot of negitive coments, like Mel said, but mostly about the CMC. And this story is getting in the way of the other story Mel is working on called Highschool for Ponyville. This story was basicaly a total fail and as my "sister" (Starlight), a troll. So unless you want this story to go on, comment on the profile page.
Melody and Starsweet: As we finish this letter, we say farewell to all the Starsweet fans. This legacy (yea right) has finished! Total bomb on our part. Sorry!
