Applejack wakes up the morning after her birthday party with a killer hangover, wings and a horn. She has no recollection of the night before, and no idea how to deal with her new found appendages and abilities. This simple apple farmer from Ponyville will have to learn to tame them or risk losing those which she holds most dear.

A secret tugs on your mind. It causes you to lash out on your friends closest to you, even if you don't mean it. It is eating you away, but there is no way you can tell them. How could you? They will hate you, surely.
Rainbow Dash has a secret like this.
And she doesn't want to tell anypony.
What happens if it gets out?

It's just a normal, boring, cloudy day in the town of Ponyville. AJ is hanging out with Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy is at the spa with Rarity, and Pinkie, once again, is annoying Twilight Sparkle. A families rainbow Pegasus gets a little drunk on a special cider and accidentally ruins the Apple Family Zap Apple Harvest. She is forced to work off the debt but will she find that a certain orange earth pony can be more than she seems? Will sparks fly between the lovers? Or will they fizzle and die?

Rainbow Dash has always had her head in the clouds, physically, but is always brought back to Equestria by the no nonsense common sense attitude of her best friend, Applejack. This story is an AppleDash fic, and takes place after the Season 2 finale of MLP:FiM.

This is a fanfic interspersed with the lyrics of "Rainy Day Man" from Sailor Moon to show the growing relationship between Applejack and Rainbow Dash. Applejack is the faithful, loyal best friend who is always Rainbow Dash's shoulder, there through thick and thin no matter what. And throughout, the two begin to realize their feelings for one another. This is my first ponyfic, so I hope you enjoy it. :)
