There are three of them, all Alicorns living to the desert land south of the Everfree Kingdom, which is the land that will one day be Equestria. They are a family of three: an elder sister and the younger kin she raised long before Celestia and Luna had even been born.

Elinora of the White Flame rules wisely, alone until the others are of age and get their marks. Hasad is charismatic and an excellent mediator. Stellaura is nervous, paranoid, and wants nothing more to be like her brother and please everyone, including herself by overcoming her inferiority complex. All of them have their own wishes for the world.

Only one of them will have their wish fulfilled.

Twilight and Celestia have been in a relationship for a while now, and Twilight decided that it was the right time to introduce her new marefriend to her parents. Celestia was nervous, of course, but thought little of it.

But when Twilight asks about Celestia's parents, things get far more complicated.

After all, it's always a little awkward when your parents aren't exactly ponies in the first place.

When I first met Princess Twilight, she was confused, lost. Adrift in an alien world. I thought of her as a rich eccentric, certainly a foreigner. I humored her as much as I believed her, really. Even when she dragged me to the very ends of the world in her mad quest for a mythic well, I really did it all for her. I figured it would help her find some closure, and we could go home.

I was right, in a way.

Based roughly on the game 80 Days.

We always tell ourselves to not dwell on the past. But what we do in the past marks us in the present and stays with us until we resolve it. And sometimes all we need is a little courage and love to overcome it.

Once upon a time there was a little pink pony who lived on a rock farm and wanted nothing more than to be happy.

Twilight's been down on her luck for years, and mocked about her belief that the lost city of Neighlantis ever existed. But now, things for her are about to change as one Fancy Pants himself believes in this lost city of legend, and wants to mount a expedition to find it. However, the voyage to the deep dark corners of the seas is perilous and might just be no place for a scholar as many dangers await her, from monsters long forgotten to that captain who seems to have his own agenda about hunting these creatures. And that's not counting the Moby's crewponies who may very well drive Twilight up the wall... (Sci-Twi/Night Glider pairing)

Celestia wakes up in human form and at an insane asylum where similarities between the world she is in now and the world of Equestria cause her to wonder if Equestria even exists or if she simply made it up to escape her human life. Does she try to hold on to her memories of her Canterlot life or does she let them go and accept them as nothing more than stories? Who is she going to trust? Who is she anyway?
